Vampires weren’t part of the conspiracy to kill JFK everybody knows it was the mob and they hired Jack Ruby to kill Oswald so he wouldn’t reveal the truth everybody knows that. But this is supposed to be fiction so I guess its okay to have vampires. I like the parts about Jack Ruby they fell real and I research Jack Ruby and I can tell this author did her homework about him and the parade route when JFK was assassinated and that’s good. And Jack Ruby’s dog Sheeba was awesome in this book people don’t talk about Jack Ruby’s dogs enough. Or Andrew.
I like how the present day characters finish fights the old characters started because the battle of good against evil is forever so really the fighting doesn’t stop ever. The reporter helps the main character revenge the death of a friend even though he’s in a wheelchair and dying this man is so cool I wish his romance had been more happy.
Characters die in this book and some are bad but some are the good guys and I wish the author had kept some of them alive so they could fight again later in the series. I want the author to write more books with history in real time in it like this and do you read these reviews Maryanne if you do write more ficrtion with history.
