- "The archaeology-driven mystery, while difficult to unravel at times, will appeal in equal measures to fans of Dan Brown's Robert Langdon novels and History's theory-filled Ancient Aliens TV series. Donoghue leaves enough loose ends hanging to make readers feel compelled to pick up the next volume. This novel, packed with action, intrigue, sexual chemistry, and a lot of archaeological research, gets its series off to a promising start." - Kirkus Reviews
- "This is the perfect example of good fiction that takes history, science and science fiction, and blends them with a mystery within a mystery and adds some thriller and police procedural spices into the mix, for a book that you just can't put down!...If you are looking for a book that tests your knowledge of history and science, while keeping you highly entertained this Summer, this is it!" - Nicole Henke, Bless Their Hearts Mom Blog
- "A compelling story line that involves the reader in a fantastic tale. Not only is it a mystery and mild romance but also has a science fiction twist thrown in for good measure. The main character is not invincible but flesh and blood like the reader. I foresee this being a very successful series that will attract an array of dedicated readers from young adults to seniors. All of whom will be delighted and look forward to the next installment. I have given this book a 4.5 star rating. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to be entertained by a story with a flair for the unknown." - Frank Peters, Book Him Danno Blog
