Shah Wharton is a British freelance ghostwriter and horror/spec-fic author based in the UK. She also authors romance under a pseudonym.
Her literary career began when her late father introduced her to E. A. Poe, to the world of poetry, and to zombie horror movies when she was far too young. All of which led her to a deep appreciation of storytelling, and led to a lifetime love of dark literature and the horror genre.
Mental illness runs in her family, Shah was diagnosed with bipolar disorder herself in 2005. An advocate for mental health awareness, she uses her blog to speak out on the issue. Get in touch if you'd like to contribute.
Shah relaxes by watching a dark themed movie and sipping a glass of bold red wine while snuggling on the sofa with her husband and their two rescue dogs.
Shah craves feedback from readers and other authors, and on her blog, she supports authors of speculative fiction and horror, so do get in touch. Currently, Shah is enhancing her creative and professional skills at university, while studying for her Masters Degree.
