I just can’t express with words how good Shaken is. Every time the next book in this series is released, I think I have found my favorite, but then the next one is even better! This time we get to see Abby and Alex fall in love. We also get a bonus in that the story is filled with suspense and intrigue regarding the sinister inner workings of an underground criminal network. The plot is a delicious blend of love, passion, murder, and intrigue!
Abby’s been keeping a big secret, one close to her heart and pretending to be someone she’s not in hopes of finding her sister. She gives up her dreams, but finds something more than she bargained for when she follows the trail to Severton. She doesn’t want distractions, but she can’t help falling for Alex and his broody ways.
Alex is a smart cop. He knows that Abby’s been hiding out, he just hasn’t figured out her secret yet. He doesn’t understand the attraction that he has to her. When he realizes that she is mixed up in the case he has been working, he realizes that he will do anything to protect her.
From friends to lovers, their story is as steamy as it is swoony.

The Severton Search and Rescue series has been excellent so far, and book 4, Shaken, continues with that high rating. This is a very unique series to me in its locale, with the climbers, even with some of the language and phrases.

Annie Dyer is very good at writing series where the characters continue on and build from book to book. The citizens of Severton are interesting, and the mystery of the cult and the crimes being hidden continue to grow. As a police officer, Alex is quite involved in the crime world of this area. Abby is hiding some secrets about her past and why she is in Severton. A good story.

Alex Maynard has always intrigued me. Loyal to his town, protective of his family, slightly mysterious in his work, he's the quiet brother that everyone depends on. When Abby realizes that she is in real danger, its Alex, her friend and crush, she turns to. Their explosive chemistry doesn't surprise them but with Abby's life on the line, her sister's whereabouts in question and family loyalties in doubt, Alex has some tough decisions to make.

I absolutely adored this book! Its steamy, funny and just suspenful enough. Once you start reading you will not want to stop until the very end. Annie Dyer is an automatic one-click for me! I can't wait for more Severton books in the future!

Alex has been my favourite in Severton for a while. I love his relationship with Abby! I love his protective nature, and ZOMG, the outside sex is da bomb dot com!! The garden scene and the off the beaten path scene are both hot enough to make me need a shower, just DAMN!!

I'm glad there's still enough hidden layers to keep me coming back for more, and enough fun in Severton to always make me wonder what wild antics are up next, just know, Alex is MINE, lol!

We meet new faces but enjoy catching up with our beloved tightknit family and the quirky citizens of Severton too. It's a fun summer must read. I loved it and can't wait to read hopefully Jake's story next. Annie has truly outdone herself with this one.

Abby and Ale have liked each other from afar but things change after someone follows her on her way home, not only do they then start to act on their feelings but also everything that Abby has hidden starts to come out. Abby has to learn to trust and Alex has to decide whether to open himself up to love, however not everyone is happy with Abby and it causes conflict within the tight group of friends and family which leave you wanting to shake the bageezies out of some of them. I loved how things slowly unravel and find there are cross overs between whats happening with Abby as well as Severton, then there is the potential new hawt character that make be making Secerton his home for a bit!!!

We are back in Severton with the amazing Maynard family.
This story is Alex Maynards and Abby Walker , aka Amelia Hope.

Alex and Abby's story was just absoultely amazing! I loved heading back to Seveton and Alex and Abby's story was everything I had hoped it would be. I kinda had a sneaky feeling these two would end up together.

....well anyone's quieter when they have a cousin like Jake!

Abby is relatively new to Severton and a bit of a mystery to the local residents....what is she hiding?

Alex and Abby's chemistry is something else! I mean they always say its the quiet ones you have to watch out for and if you have read Stirred well Alex matches Scott in the growliness stakes!

I absolutely love the whole mystery surrounding Severton, tied in with why Abby is in Severton and not forgetting the usual shenanigans of Jake's Alpacas, Gran and Sadie Grace!

I loved the introduction of the new characters and some that we saw briefly in Smoldered! I'm going to need their stories!

There were tears, some twists and turns I wasn't expecting but I asboultely LOVED! I can't wait to see what else is to come in Severton Search and Rescue Series.
