As a woman who routinely grapples with how to apply my faith to modern life, there's a lot in the book that I related to. What makes it a universally powerful story though is the idea that when we're honest with ourselves and each other, we create a space where shame can no longer exist. Give this gutsy read a go. It's well worth your time.

Even if you are a slow reader you will likely find yourself turning pages to see what happens next.
Unpredictable and enticing. Dani takes us down a road that is beautiful and likely less traveled; which just might open your mind.
After growing up in a non-religious home, and meeting a wonderful family who shares G-d’s love through their actions I wanted to be surrounded by more people like them. Soon after I found myself attending a private Christian University where WWJD (What would Jesus Do) was a way of life, not just a saying... required chapel, dry campus, and no boys in our rooms after hours. Our school was filled with passionate individuals whom all had remarkably different paths and perspectives. Dani’s writing took me back to my High School youth group, and Christian University in a pleasant yet unexpected way. Gathering around a fire pit singing praises, Dani joined me in my memories, and a helped me understand yet another perspective that I may have otherwise missed.
Thank you, Dani for your clear, eloquent, visual, and writing style filled with love.
Impressive, and for a first book quite remarkable.
Hopefully, there will be a sequel!
This book is truly for anyone, not just evangelical Christians with a sexual chip on their shoulders. It's about self-discovery, youth, and above all else... love. That's something we all can relate to!
