I love that this is a powder and not a stinky aerosol spray. That also means that this lasts MUCH longer. I use it every other day when I don't wash my hair since I have very oily roots. I've been using it for almost a month and barely any is missing out of the bottle. A little goes a long way.

First the bottle is small but it seems like if you use wisely it will last awhile. It smells GREAT! But the bottle and the way to use is HORRIBLE! The first time I had so much product on my scalp I had to wash it. Not that mention how much gets on your clothes and well everywhere while applying! Some ladies said they just don't open all the way but it's still a crappy bottle. I had a old powder play bottle by big sexy hair and cleaned it out and put this dry shampoo in it. It's essentially a salt shaker type thing and works SO much better than the bottle it comes it. The bottle is the only reason I gave 4 stars and not five.

My hair constantly parts around this massive, curly cowlick. Hair Dance allows the overlying hair to “float” over the cowlick. And all of it, the style, the cowlick float, stays for days…through sleep, sweat, wind, humidity, etc… without using hairspray!
I use this product by upending the bottle and gently tapping the nozzle against my scalp down the root line. The nozzle helps me to pinpoint the powder. Then, I simply shoosh it in with my fingertips. If I feel I’ve overdone it, I upturn my head and shoosh some out.
After that…nothing. I don’t even need to brush my hair. I just love this stuff, because I’m not a girl who spends a lot of time on my hair. In fact, I’m terrible with hair. I look at YouTube styling videos and I can’t seem to duplicate any of what they’re doing. I get snide…who has time for all that primping anyway? Ah, jealousy. Not a good look. These YouTube ladies have a talent that I simply don’t possess. I’ve been happy to be a wash-and-go girl. But with Hair Dance, I can also be a tap-and-go girl!
The first bottle I ordered was lavender scented, which I really didn’t care for. It's not bad if you like lavender in your hair, but I don’t. The lavender isn’t cloying, so it’s not troublesome, but I contacted the company to ask about other scents.
I found out, through wonderful customer support from this small, woman-owned business, that there’s an unscented version and a citrus grapefruit, which I didn’t see before ordering. I got the grapefruit, and It’s wonderful. Again, not cloying or strong. Just a lovely, gently-citrus zing.
I’ve included a series of photos: Before, tapping powder in, powdered hair, after, cowlick before, cowlick after, and day 3 photos-in which I hadn’t even brushed my hair. These were wake-up pics, yes, on day 3. (I’m unapologetic and unashamed.)
Sum up: I’ve tried many dry shampoos and remedies from Beach Babe and Batiste (these sprays leave my hair looking oily or wet) to regular baby powder (which leaves my hair powdery). I highly recommend this dry shampoo.

This dry shampoo not only freshens my hair, it also actually gives me style without using any styling tools. The volume is perfect for lifting at the root, which makes it look like I had a blow-out and used a flat iron on the roots. I would of given this product a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the bottle dispenser top being problematic. Otherwise this product is fantastic! I recently learned that most dry shampoos have alcohol and other harsh agents and wanted a healthier option and this is the one! It only has a few ingredients and a light scent that does not overpower. It improves my hairs appearance and even feels better to the touch. It adds a little volume to my hair which is also fantastic because my hair tends get flatter the longer it goes without a proper shower. With this product my hair can go longer between washes even when I run three miles! A little product does go a long way and if you add too much it will leave your scalp feeling a slight itchy sensation. So, like anything else you just need to practice to know what amount is the right amount for you.
