The game is genuine, the packaging is suspicious.
I received my copy and it was mentioned as sealed new in the listing. However upon receiving it, there were red flags immediately.
It was sealed 100% unbroken however the box art slip cover looks pretty bad. The front art is very pixelated almost like a downscaled jpeg. The back gameplay previews are even worse capture quality with both Wayforwards and Maximum Games logos being completely distorted. Only the publishers logo is in actual decent order and fully intact.
Inside, the game came with a manual and a dirty cart. It almost felt like the game was originally a loose copy and manual stuffed into a replacement shell and resealed.
The game itself does not indicate being a bootleg and looks to be in order despite the cart being a bit dirty.
Conclusion/TLDR:
If you are a collector that cares about how genuine something is, be cautious of this listing. Else if you just want to play the game and dont care if its repackaged or loose then this still works for you.
