Price? Phenomenal. These units are clearly made overseas. Cheaply.
Quality? Think it’s a mixed bag. Read a number of reviews claiming the usual about mass produced imitations of certain products. This one is by no means an exception. As a Phlebotomist, MA and eventual RN, this little 3D puzzle is fun. It’s VERY small, so don’t confuse the size, barely 2+ inches. It’s the cheapest soft ABS plastic so don’t confuse that either. But the unit itself (provided nothing breaks instantly) is decent. Everything snaps together well if your mold fits it’s parts, everything is also a great, compact tool for a visual learner. But again, you get what you pay for. A very basic body cavity “study guide” is included.. If nothing else it will tell you what should go where so you know what is broken.
Bottom line, until you can afford to drop 60+? This will do just fine. As mentioned before the stars were for the price and the premise. Just hope you get a “good one”...
For instance, my rib cage “pegs” for affixing the cage to the body cavity was garbage. 1 broke initially and 1 followed suit. Fortunately it can still be stuck on but I had th same problem with the heart. It DOES NOT FIT. Bummer too, because I want to want to like this.

I had read the reviews and knew this was going to be small, but its REALLY small. Also, it must be a male since there are no sex organs. I explained they just focused on the body cavity and the testicles are not in the body cavity. I don't get why so many body books and models try to ignore sex organs. Geeze. Its 2017 and we are learning science. What message are we sending if we pretend the sex organs dont exist. I docked a star for the missing organs. For the price, I think the size is tolerable. Im adding a photo with a credit card to document the size.

Pros:
Portable- Small enough to fit in your bag and take to classes or to sit on your shelf for display.
Mostly Accurate- With it being so small it is hard to get it textbook accurate but if you already know basic anatomy it isn't too big of a deal.
Fun- Nice to put together and take a part for skills assessments.
Cons:
Assembly Guide- The Guide should include more about the asophagus and skin.
Model as a whole- It would be better if the model had some more in depth work, such as muscle tissue in the legs or arms that are detachable.

It uses character archetypes in some instances to shorthand this. It's a well crafted film, with a well developed script. I had read no reviews of it. It wasn't what I expected, and am well pleased to have watched it. I'll be doing so again, and will be perusing the extras. A brilliant job of casting here, and a film where the actors picked up a good script and took it to the house. Touchdowns!
This said, The Shape of the Water does not have much to do with that old Universal monster movie. In truth, it's a beautiful romance, a story of love, integrity, sharing and trust. And it is very well done and very well perform by the actors who played in it. Sally Hawkins particularly who is really fascinating in her character, no wonder she was nominated as best actress in so many awards associations, clubs, etc. She IS the movie. And for Guillermo Del Toro, well, he has undoubtedly proved himself worthy as a director through the last decades, making his signature very popular in different genres. And if it was only for those two reasons, you should not miss that movie. Go for it.
