Klaus Schwab has masterfully taken his first book, "
The Fourth Industrial Revolution
" to a pragmatic "what-how-who-
why" synthesis in this follow up book. The narrative challenges our assumptions on how the future is unfolding and highlights how we should re-orientate ourselves and reconfigure our mindset in shaping 4IR. Highly recommended (actually a must-read) for anybody finding themselves in an organisational leadership position... irrelevant of industry or sector.

This was all encompassing. I was looking for more regarding internet of things. This was very broad ans did not meet what I was looking for.

This book should be read by everyone interested in AI and our future. Well written and an eye opener. I can’t wait to further explore this exciting world.

This is the third book I have read on this topic and it is the best written of the three. It provides a big picture view of the issues we will soon face.

I’m shocked!
This book is so poorly written, and the content and logic of his arguments are too general and not relevant to this subject matter. What a shame. I disliked it so much I took it back to the store and got my money back.

The print is so light that the book is illegible. I plan to return it.

Not very informative
Reviewed in Germany on June 21, 2018Verified Purchase
There is only one thread that I followed with interest while reading this book, namely how the synergy between the different emerging technologies will help boost each of them far beyond the capability of any of them taken separately. However, this only constitutes around 10-20% of the content. The rest is elongated calls for government interventions, lengthy suggestions for regulations and call for actions. One feels that author is directing his work mainly to government officials to encourage them to issue lengthy laws and regulations to curb innovation and science. This is a very unfortunate standpoint.

Reviewed in France on December 17, 2020Verified Purchase
