The author, Sharon Struth grabbed me---hook, line, and sinker from the beginning. I loved Ms. Struth's sweet romance, mixed with a hint of mystery. Romance is not dead after the age of forty, and Ms. Struth relays that message loud and clear.
Sophie, the main character is appealing right off the bat. And what can I say about Duncan, except he floats my boat.
Share the Moon has family tragedy, conundrums, misunderstandings, and bouts of mistrust.
As a reporter, Sophie inspires to unearth the truth about Duncan Jamieson, even though the truth can hurt. She didn't expect to fall head over heels for the man who's practically stealing the property she's coveted for many years.
I refuse to say more, since I'm afraid of giving away spoilers. If you're searching for a good romantic book that'll leave you with a sweet taste in your mouth, then look no further, read Share the Moon.
I don't often read pure contemporary romance/women's fiction, but I really enjoyed this novel by Sharon Struth. Set in a small town in CT with it's inevitable small town drama, all of Struth's characters were fun and believable with varying personalities to boot. The hero and heroine, Sophie and Duncan, definitely kept my interest throughout the novel, and I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. It wasn't instalove and they had lots of conflict between them (considering they're bidding on the same land). They both hold their own dark secrets they hesitate to spill and it was quite an emotional rollercoaster. I won't give too much away, but Struth made me really care about these two and what happened to them. Also, I really loved Duncan's brother, Trent *swoon* and can't wait to read his story! SHARE THE MOON was very well-written but I didn't expect anything less from this author. Definitely a book to pick up if you like a great HEA.
Ms. Struth evoked a plethora of deep emotions. My heart broke for both the hero and heroine, I had more than a little bit of curiosity about the mystery that needed to be solved, and I even got angry towards a few people in the story.
All in all it was a great read that kept me hanging on to see both what would happen between the Duncan and Sophie and to solve the mystery.
I'd love to see a story featuring Trent, Duncan's older brother.
