About the Author
Dr. J. Randolph Turpin, Jr. serves as an adjunct instructor for the Pentecostal Theological Seminary teaching courses related to leadership, ministerial practice, congregational development and prayer. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Education from Lee University (1980) and the M.Div. and D.Min. degrees from the Church of God Theological Seminary (1990 and 2005). For over twenty years, Randy served in pastoral work in home missions states, his most notable contribution being in Northern New England. His calling to minister to emerging leaders has taken him to South America, Africa, Asia, and to various training venues in North America. Randy has co-authored Friends of God: Growing in Life's Most Essential Relationship, Friends of the Bridegroom: Partnering with Christ in His Devotion to the Church, 101 Prayer Models, Prayer Strategy: A Planning Workbook, and A Man Called King: the Life and Legacy of King Turpin, Jr.
