This book can be found at a local Nar-Anon meeting or on the Nar-Anon.Org website for $15.00. It has helped many find help when dealing with someone else's addiction. You may find that the book, by itself, is only a beginning to your finding the help you need. The official website for Nar-Anon also lists meetings in your area. That is where you find that you are not alone. You will find that by listening and sharing your experience, strength and hope and the networking with individuals by communication and sponsorship will enhance your daily reading in this book. I am grateful to see this book available on Amazon but am sorry to see such a wide range of profit from the vendors.

This book was by far the most helpful book i have ever read when it comes to dealing with someone that is struggling with drug addiction. Especially when you are on the other side and have never been through that sort of thing before. It tells you how to go about things, how to cope, and how to talk to someone and not making them feel like they are failures in life. It teaches you how to be a part of the recovery process and understand how to stay away from things that trigger those certain addictions. I think that as someone who has never been through an addiction issue. This book would be very helpful because we don't see things eye to eye and the same way as someone who does struggle with these issues. We don't understand what helps and why certain things don't. Even why someone cant stop an addiction and what it would do for them. This book is right for you if you are looking for something to be involved in helping someone get better. Definitely recommended.

This is the best book for your bedside, or that reading rack in your rest room. Just open and read. You are NOT alone. There is an epidemic of abuse and we all need to get together to figure out how we can survive it and best help the abuser and our families. This is a MUST have. This vendor got the book to us quickly. Thank you.

This book is useful for anyone raising kids, as it refers to all enabling behaviors and how to live your life.

Do you love an addict? SESH is the Nar-Anon Family Groups daily reader soft cover book. In it's 3rd printing, SESH is available at [...].
Wonderful book with reading that express what I felt while dealing with my addicted daughter's behavior. From experience of others who used the program tools (steps, traditions, sponsor, meetings, journalling, reading literature, service) as stated in the book, I learned how to use this program to take care of myself and to understand how enabling (giving money, making excuses, doing for them what they can do for themselves) perpetuates the cycle of addiction and keeps the addict from seeking help.
I recommend this book to anyone concerned with the addiction of another person.

The book was as promised. It was not what I expected and not the kind of book I enjoy reading but that is just me. Will be passing on to a friend.
