This knife set just oozes quality. Five very sharp knives of differing lengths and shapes, each having a different purpose along with a blade sharpener and a pair of cutting scissors, come bottle opener. All seven are housed in a stained oak wooden block which is quite attractive and luxurious to look at. It looks beautiful sitting on our kitchen worktop. When inserted in the block no blades are visible. The knives are weighty and the handles are easy to grip. They seem to be non-slip. The stainless steel blades are anti-rust and are very sharp. I like that this set comes with the sharpener included. To clean them, I just run them under my hot water tap and and wipe with a sponge.

I'm happy with this value purchase and I don't hesitate in recommending this sturdy, well made knife set.

Great quality for the price

Having used these knives for a couple months now with daily use.
I can safely say that they have held up and still look like new.
The knives are very sharp out the box and don’t require sharpening.
You have to wash them before first use to take off the protective coating that’s on the blades.

The construction on each blade is a single piece of metal from blade tip to handle end. With wooden inserts that are riveted to the handle.
Feels nice in the hand and comfortable to hold during use.

I must point out that to clean these you must hand wash them because of the wood on the knife handles.
It does state this in the info that comes in the packaging.

The knife storage block is made of wood, the slots haven’t been varnished well and I had at first alittle bit of saw dust come out on the kitchen side.
But it’s been fine since and I store the knives in the block.

Really delighted with this set, which not only looks great but feels great. We previously purchased a different brand sale set from Amazon that we disliked and purchased this set to replace that one. We were not disappointed! The handles on this set are well made and the knives feel balanced. There is a variety of different blades which is super helpful. My husband and I both cook and we have both been very pleased with all of the knives in this set. Two notes here - one that the knives should be hand washed (which is likely the case with most good quality knives) and also that they are super sharp - just handle with care, perhaps washing with dish gloves (we both inadvertently cut ourselves while handwashing with our bare hands).
