Authors very much Hillary fans. They do not point to the her corruption in the campaign especially vs. Bernie. Portrays Hillary as a do-good politician that just did not have her finger on the pulse of the electorate and was misunderstood. They sugar-coated a lot of the turmoil and corruption of Hillary and her campaign.

There is interesting content inasmuch as one might want to know about some of the machinations inside the campaign. One can read about internal fights and power centers that Hillary let run amok. There is ample discussion over the fear Hillary had over her staff and this in part meant bad news never got shared. There is the facile way people like Robby Mook silenced or eliminated people with accurate insights in favor of his own power. Of hillarys fondness for Huma that kept the risk of scandal fearfully close.

This is offset by the lack of reporting in so many other areas. Bias is rampant by the authors. They writers clearly did not like Senator Sanders and portray in in outlandish terms. They give bare mention to the populist drive that made him a formidable candidate. They do not mention the cheating by Donna Brazile in colluding with Hillarys campaign during the debates. They do not mention the dirty tricks Hillarys people played in shutting down the Democratic Nevada caucuses.

They do not mention the ongoing and close relationships between Hillarys campaign and the mainstream media, the latter who worked to glorify Hillary vs first Sanders then Trump. Instead the media are portrayed as the enemy here who chooses to exploit the email saga (one they do admit was Hillary's fault).

It's an interesting read for those who want to read more about a dysfunctional campaign, so I recommend it in this respect. But just done expect to see a correct rendering, its more like a blog post vs journalism.

I couldn't get into it. Because it has no sources. It is almost as if they are writing a fictional novel and if I wanted to read a fictional account of how Hillary's campaign went, I would buy one.

It gives a decent insight for clinton campaign but authors cant hide their bias in favor of clinton. "She has had it too hard, she has struggled, she has scars of hard work".... things and statements like these only enforce that authors want to be very sympathetic to Clinton. Also, NOTHING is ever Clinton's fault... its the data, its russia, its FBI, everybody except the Clintons are at fault.
Read it for some decent insights but overall a favorably biased book towards Hillary Clinton.

Dull, for the most part. Missed some real reasons Hillary lost. A major one in my mind was the type of judges she would appoint vs Trump. This was not mentioned in the book to my knowledge. Releasing a list of conservative candidates was genius on Trump part and tipped the scale for many voters who did not necessarily like Trump but now had a reason to come out and vote for him. The recent Supreme Court decisions drove that home. One appointment was imminent and the possibility of one, maybe two, in the next four years, meant the character of the court would be set for the next 10 - 40 years. And then there were the Federal Court appointments. The conservative talk shows reminded us of the importance of judges often. The authors obviously were Hillary supporters. They find little wrong with her and enumerate all her wonderful qualities. They don't seem to understand that she was responsible for her own loss. They prefer to blame it on the number crunchers but Hillary approved of their flawed methods. Of course then Hillary came up with Comey and Russia as the villains. And Hillary's graciousness at losing as turn into anything but. I did learn from this book that the RNC data showed in early Nov that Trump would win Pennsylvania and Michigan but no one believes it so it's not released. Of course then it's probably too late to do anything about it.

Talked about people you didn't know. She never would admit truthfully SHE was the reason she lost the election. Thank goodness she did. Never got to the heart of the book,
went into many areas and the writings were scattered-- everyone trying to be the top dog.

Yeah, I was disappointed too. It was insightful, but it was maybe only 76% honest about Hillary. Damning facts about her were omitted. And the tone used to discuss Trump was, I thought, very unfair.

The book conclusions that 1.) her campaign was mismanaged from the start, 2.) that she had no real message or reason to be president, 3.) she was a small person and had contempt for just about everyone, and 4.) everything she did turned into a scandal, gives us cause to believe we dodged a big bullet.

Not as hyped. If I had checked the authors before buying I would have realized this would not be a truly honest and unbiased recounting of the election. Apparently it is impossible to get a true depiction of this corrupt and narcissistic candidate; also impossible to give Trump any credit or
description as anything but a clown. He was elected because the American public are tired of the polished politician, who are always also dishonest and corrupt. We want the corruption dismantled now!

Overall very disappointed. Hillary blamed others. Blamed Russians. No blame for herself. Felt authors left out true events that happened at Clinton headquarters the night of the election. It left me wondering what else they left out in order to project a more favorable view of Hillary.

I do not recommend this book. Every page seems to try to rewrite history casting Hillary as an underdog. This is the second book I read on the election. The other book was far better. I was bored by the middle of every chapter. Sorry, this is not an honest account.
