It's too bad, at the time he was charged
on June 24, 2016
A Must Read................
I watched a 48 Hours Show on Discovery ID a week ago about David Temple awaiting the Texas Court of Appeals decision on him receiving a new trial, with his new defense attorneys claiming Kelly Siegler, prosecutor in his first trial, withholding information from the original defense attorneys. Knowing absolutely nothing about his wife Belinda's murder, I found myself believing Temple should receive a new trial. After watching the program, I viewed the 48 Hours Facebook Page and began reading the comments. Although many felt the same as I did, I noticed a comment from one who noted that David Temple was guilty and that the proof is in a book, "Shattered," by Kathryn Casey. I immediately clicked the link to amazon.com, to read the synopsis and comments, then ordered the book for my Kindle.
I read 75% of this book until I could no longer keep my eyes open and then finished it the next day! Wow, Kathryn Casey provides a thorough history of David Temple going back to when he was a youngster and continuing throughout his high school days, college, his marriage to Belinda Lucas, her murder and the trial and sentencing. There was no doubt in my mind that he murdered Belinda and that he got what he deserved. It's too bad, at the time he was charged, the law protecting the unborn, was not in effect in Texas yet. Otherwise, he would have been charged with double murder!
At the same time, I was introduced to a True Crime Author by the name of Kathryn Casey who captivated me from the beginning of "Shattered," and didn't let me go even after I completed the book, as I wanted a thorough update of what has been happening with Belinda's family since the trial and the shenanigans of the Temple Clan to continue to deny, lie and protect David!! It was disgusting to read how they had a Pow Wow shutting out Belinda's friends from paying their respects, as they came up with a plan to provide a safety net for their beloved and guilty, son and brother! Belinda was adored by everyone who knew her, including the Temples and excluding David! Just when you think you've heard it all, Kathryn Casey unveils more about David Temple, the liar, cheater, manipulator and murderer! You will not be disappointed and I strongly recommend this book for all who love reading True Crime.
Upon completion of the book, I ordered another book for my Kindle, by Kathryn Casey and 6 more books in paperback! With Ann Rule no longer with us, I've been craving an author who writes in a style which has me inhaling every single word until I'm satiated, yet grabbing for another helping because I can't get enough!
