People seemed to have forgotten what good music is. Now it just has to be loud and catchy and people can't get enough of it, but the best music didn't come from following a formula. It came from a person with a gift of expressing their own or others experiences in words, a person with a gift of expressing the deepest feelings through their voice, and all the musicians and producers with a gift of blending the lyrics, voice and instruments to make a work of art. The best songs aren't those that reached the top of the charts, it's those that have stood the test of time. The best song has just as much meaning today as it did the first time it was played. This is one of those songs.
