As I've come to expect in her books, Leslie North has some strong characters for us. Special, strong-minded and definitely very likable characters, that balance each other and complete each other in a very positive way.
I like how open they are about their feelings, no cat and mouse games, no hiding or stupid misunderstandings, Basri and Juliette just acknowledge their feelings and go for it.
Even though I spent my time changing between smiling a bit goofily and blinking away some sentimental tears, there is also a lot of action involved. Oh, real action, not of the sexy steamy kind, at least not only that kind of action. Again I love how the author uses characters' strengths and nobody becomes some kind of super hero, they just use what they got and go from there. Okay, they are pretty badass anyway and they are good looking of course but they don't develop some McGyver-Superman-cross-genes along the way.
The story was captivating and sweet and I definitely will come back with more books by the author, again!
Basri has the same passion for the company as his father did and doesn't believe profit should be the only motive to create technology, when he asked Juliette on his creative adventure he takes to think he never thought what happens would of, so when they have a great weekend but then when they have a accident they get stranded in a foreign village. But what happens brings them closer together and leaving the village with a surprise Juliette thought she would never enjoy.
Come follow Basri and Juliette on the romantic journey. What a great finally book in the Azhar Sheikhs Series.
At the beginning of the book, I was wondering how Juliette could ever fall for Basri as they were so very much different! She was very organized and ordered while he was always dreaming up new ideas and totally unscheduled in everything!
When Juliette agrees to go on one of Basri's adventure, you can see a different side of him and how she could fall for him. I liked that while it was very hard for Juliette to accept that she could not have a child due to a medical problem, she did adopt the triplets and not have a surprise pregnancy which would have been pretty unbelievable.
I liked that Basri was such a giving person and willing to let the schools have their new product for free. It was interesting to hear his mother when she mentioned that Basri was so like his father and that they complimented each other just as Basri and Juliette would compliment each other.
I have not read the two previous books and after reading this one, I want to read them - and see how the mother was so instrumental in finding the correct woman for her sons! I like how the book had a lot of romance with a bit of drama and intrigue added into the story.
Basri is the youngest of his brothers and the one they think is the least responsible. His methods of thinking are totally different and his family doesn't understand him.
Juliette is supposed to help reign him in and keep him from making major errors. As his p.a. she's supposed to keep him under a tight schedule and help him run a more efficient company.
Being stranded and without any means of communication while trying to deliver much needed supplies to remote areas, brings these two together to form a very formidable team. In more ways than one, his family is very surprised.
Another must read series from Leslie that keeps you engaged aNd is a great addition to any library
A very good storyline with great chemistry....a great read that won't disappoint.
