Anyway, I will have to say that this book is much more action orientated. Not much in the smexy times but when Zafir and Jade kiss, it's like lightening in a bottle. You can feel the connection and the HEA that they both deserve. One of the things that I loved about Zafir that has much as a playboy that he is, he fell hard for Jade. It was almost like love at first sight but it made sense. He had already read everything about her that he could before he even met her and I actually liked that. I know, it goes against the grain of instant love but with him, it wasn't. He just knew you know.
Jade is such a bad*ss in this book. She is fearless, completely unaware of her appeal to Zafir. She just wants to do the job. Code white is what they called it but it quickly turned to red in a heartbeat. And the person they were protecting was a hoot. Stanley is a complex character that takes awhile to get to know but peeling those layers is fun. I also liked how Ms. Kennie made Stanley human. The dogs...
Like I said, this book is clocked full of action and it never stops. It seems like they are constantly on the run and the end climax left me breathless. I also liked seeing Talib and Emir. I can't wait to get my hands on Talib's story. If I had one, tiny thing about the book is that I would have liked to have seen or at least heard about Kate. I miss her and I would have like to hear her say something to Fasir when it comes to falling for Jade.
This book has everything. Passion, exotic settings, characters that you can love and swoon over and a climax that I never saw coming. Breathtaking is what this book is." Harley W
5 stars - Neena
"4.5 stars This was an excellent romantic suspense. Jafir has helped run his famous security firm for years. He and his brothers work and have offices around the globe. They hire the best of the best. Jade is an excellent agent and came from the FBI. She has excellent instincts and the ability to work in what is traditionally a male dominated world. Jade is working a low risk job that suddenly becomes extremely dangerous. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by this of especially this series." Margaret M
