Overall, I love it!
We have made it almost a game to fill it all and enjoy being prepared with a great food supply. I would buy another one of these (actually am going to get a Harvest 72 #10 one now) without a second thought.
First the Positives: I received my order promptly. (I ordered it from Costco online). When put together, the frame is very sturdy. Those are the positives. The ONLY positives.
Now the negatives: Some of the pieces were bent in transit and we had to take time to pound them straight again. It took 3 of us almost 4 HOURS to put this together and it's still not complete yet. We had to pound incredibly hard and repeatedly with the rubber mallet to get the things to go into the slot. Using lube didn't help. The instructions recommend you do not assemble it on carpet, so we did it on the cement in the basement. The force of the pounding caused the bars to bend...
The insertion of the plastic racks seemed easy enough, I say SEEMED because the second step where you attach the little plastic guides to hold them in place is a pain in the behind!!! But you have to do it or your cans will just fall through to the floor.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the difficulty in assembling this. But the product itself, once assembled, (if you can get that far) is nice, but in my opinion should cost a little less. I had no idea that half of my day would be spent putting this together. I thought maybe an hour tops....
To be fair I did wait one day to write this review.... had I written it yesterday while in the midst of the chaos... it would have been a lot more negative.
