This book demystified via practical examples, "expect" program, shell script "getopts", coding shell script functions for re-use to perform normal everyday Systems Administrative tasks. Man pages can be very vague/confusing, and I've used many shell programming books to learn shell programming, through Ron Peter's use of practical examples, his book clarified and filled in a lot of what I was missing. This book should be on every Unix Systems Administrators bookshelf.
