About the author

Norma Vaughn Danzey lives on the Gulf Coast and enjoys writing suspenseful and faith-based books involving characters who struggle with issues much like we do. After receiving her Masters degree in education, she taught middle and elementary students in the public schools for many years.
Her first series, "Songs of the Heart," is contemporary,, and each novel bears the title of an old hymn which weaves itself throughout the book. She made a smooth switch into the historical realm when the female protagonist in "Count Your Blessings" cleans out the attic of her Victorian home and finds treasures from the past. All three books in this series are set in Franklin, Tennessee, but when one of the characters moves to Mobile, Alabama, the reader learns interesting historical facts about that city.
"Saraland Sunrise,” begins a contemporary Sunrise series and is now available in print and Kindle. New Day Dawning is now available in hard back, and she is working on offering the rest of her books as hard back also. Sunrise Series contains four novels and her new release, a generational saga, Rejoice with Singing, should be ready for publication soon.
Among the many joys of writing, she finds she can hardly wait to discover what will unfold in her stories. The characters have a mind of their own, and she can always make the twists and turns that keep the reader interested!
