Blair/Cricket has finished college and starting her first job at an art gallery. She has a boyfriend, Fritz, who she met while in college. After college she moves to Charleston, NC, and moves into a shared apartment, a misinterpretation of who she was sharing it with. She has a feeling that someone is watching her and that someone has been in her room.
Ryker has been watching Blair ever since he saw Blair for the first time, he knew she was his and he would do whatever it took to keep her safe and his. He has eyes on her, when he isn't able to do it himself, and to keep her safe.
This is another book that just made my day so much better.
There is insta love but not insta sex which was refreshing.
The backstory unfolds slowly and the story was just GOOD!
I felt there were a few editing things: like she wears pants and a top to the first day, but when she gets home she takes off heels and her dress. I also felt the name of the book wasn't fitting, but that's me!
But the 3 Epilogue make up for it :)
How big are the changes that a guy who is extremely handsome and extremely rich suddenly and by chance falls deeply in love with a woman sitting on a bench? And after being kidnapped she falls deeply in love with him?? They don't know anything about each other, what is there to love in that early stage? She is not that big a personality. And further more it bothers me when you meet a guy who has kidnapped you, has been following you, broken into your apartment and hacked his way into your medical records ,that you have unprotected sex with him that early , knowing what he is capable of? Normal thinking and responsible women just don't do that.
