Sherlyn Powell grew up in Christiansburg, Virginia. She is an author/speaker/publisher. She majored in Business and worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation and Social Services/Division of Child Support Enforcement in the State of Virginia and several major corporations in Corporate America before pursuing her writing career. Sherlyn is a member of Toastmasters International was featured in Focus on Women magazine's November/December issue. Sherlyn is currently working on several projects including another romance novel. She welcomes the opportunity to speak to her audience and inspire them to believe in themselves, to never give up on their dreams no matter what obstacles they face.
