"Once again Diane has written a mysterious and magical story that truly shows the power of love and forgiveness. This was a beautiful ending to the series." -Carol Dunkin Hanlon, Carol Goodreads Addict Review
"Magic, love and the healing power of both are weaved masterfully by Diane J. Reed." -Georgia Panagopoulou, Infinity of Time Review
"Diane J. Reed's books are a treat for your heart and soul, and Sherwood's End is a gripping, heart-melting journey and a satisfying end to her Robbin' Hearts trilogy. Creek's soul-searching literally takes him and Robin into the past, where he must choose between the anger that has fueled him for years or forgiveness through an understanding of the true nature of his parents. I loved watching Robin and Creek's relationship mature and evolve and I enjoyed journeying with Creek on his quest, always wondering where it would take him next. But I was absolutely lifted off my feet by the tornado that was Sherwood and Caroline, Creek's star-crossed parents. Sherwood is my newest book-boyfriend! He is an extraordinary character, painted vibrantly by the author. This book has it all: romance, passion, star-crossed lovers, touching and meaningful themes, action and adventure and a hold-your-breath climax that you won't soon forget! Sherwood's End brought me straight into the eye of the tornado, and I loved every minute of it!" -Lori J. Fitzgerald, White Raven Writing Review

Author Diane J. Reed did an amazing job writing this book and wrapping up the Robbin' Hearts series. Sherwood's End was a real page turner, for sure! I'm sad to see this be the end of an awesome series, but at the same time, happy to see the way it all unfolded and came together in the end.
Sherwood's End was very well written as I've come to expect from this author's work. Most of the characters from the previous two books in the series show up again in Sherwood's End. I love that in a series. There wasn't as much that included the bunch at Turtle Shores in this one, except for Granny Tinker, but some is better than none.
We got to know more about Robin and Creek and their romance. I have to say though, that I was sort of sad that there wasn't MORE in the area of Creek & Robin, but it was written in a way that we still got to see their story progress. This book is more focused on Creek's parents and that story was a whirlwind! I loved it!
I will be on the lookout for more from author Diane J. Reed!
The forces set in motion that ricocheted from a sheltered private academy for privileged girls, out to Turtle Shores, the last-chance trailer park of misfits, all the way to Venice, Italy's underworld of gypsies and powerful robber-barons now comes back home to where it all began--Pinnacle boarding school, where rich young girls are trained to be manipulative queens in a kingdom of wealth and privilege. But the dark rot that is the price of wealth and power is ready to reveal itself, and it's up to Robin and Creek to separate the beating heart of the truth from the web of lies that surrounds an old tragedy whose repercussions echo to today.
I confess, Sherwood swept me off my feet. If you've ever wondered what "Gonzo" would be like as a teenage boy, Sherwood will show you! I was caught up as he swept the gentle Caroline off her feet, and couldn't wait to see what happened next. But what for me was a wild ride is a deep journey for Creek and Robin--the darkness inside Creek is growing, and if he doesn't understand and forgive the events that led to tragedy in his youth, he'll never be able to free himself to love.
Diane J Reed does not disappoint--I know when I pick up a story from her, I will be getting so much more than action and words on a page. The underlying theme of this story is redemption, and you cannot help but root for these characters--every single one of them, including the recurring cast from Turtle Shores, in all their quirky, homespun glory.
There are some truly pulse-pounding moments, and even though the story alternates between the present and the past, you never feel like you're reading a flashback. These characters have gone through much hardship, but you never as a reader lose hope. Reed has a laser-focused talent for keeping you in the moment of a story, and she delivers a positive, life-affirming, uplifting experience and a fine, full-circle end to this tale.
Like the previous volume in the series, this one's for the older set, as some mature themes are dealt with. It was a true joy to grow with these young characters, and I'm really hoping that Reed continues the series with some auxiliary tales about the rest of the residents of Turtle Shores. If you like New Adult stories with a lot of heart, action, and a deeper subtext than the usual fare, Sherwood's End and the Robbin' Hearts series will stick to your ribs and feed your cravings!
