My favorite designs are (1) Bangkok (the cover design), a tunic using a lovely diagonal triangle pattern for the textured fabric; (2) Milan, a sleeveless top with a drapey bodice and cowl neck; (3) Amsterdam, a simple, tailored, open-front vest; (4) Seattle, a drape-front vest with long panels in front for draping or tying (that can even be worn upside-down!); and (5) NYC, a strapless, body-hugging sheath dress formed from square black-and-white motifs. But I like nearly all of the designs, which are quite in line with current fashion.
Most of the designs have written-out directions for multiple sizes, usually Small to 3X. Many designs have schematic drawings showing the finished measurements, to help you achieve the correct gauge, size, and fit. There are also a few pages of general crocheting instructions included at the end. Each of the designs has multiple full-color photographs that not only show important details in close-up, but also show the garments being worn in more than one pose.
1. almost every pattern is very wearable by the average woman
2. easy to follow instructions
3. interesting stitch patterns
4. great use of textured stitches
5. huge range of sizes
6. good use of color
7. great variety
1. the models look too "posed" and unnatural
2. 80's flashback dress (only those who didn't live through it could look at that photo and not flinch - every detail hurts)
For the designs, buy this book right away!
Those patterns are awesome... If this keeps up, I may also order the next issue.

Yes, there are plus sizes in this book but they are only up to 3x. The styles are great for those sizes.Published on June 13, 2013 by Lynn Ellis
Received in good quality. But I don't like the way they mail to me. They didn't ring my bell and just stuck in my mail box.Published on May 27, 2013 by Catherine
