I haven't had this long enough to rate true durability over time. There are some threads coming off the edges, so I'm a bit worried, but overall it's holding up okay. I really had to search for this style of phone case that wasn't leather, or too busy a design. This isn't quite what I wanted, but I still consider it a good find.
There are 3 things I really like: 1) the magnet on the overall case is strong - great for hand free in the car; 2) the fact that the actual phone holder can just pull out of the case, but when in is still held by that strong magnet, is a really nice feature; and 3) the edges of the phone holder are sturdy, but still soft and flexible, which means that they aren't as likely to chip and break.
The one thing I would note about the detachable aspect of the phone holder from the case, you do have to watch that you don't obscure the camera with the back cover. I have found that when I turn the screen off, or adjust the volume controls on that my grip will sometimes be enough to shift the phone slightly on the back cover if I'm not paying attention. If it shifts far enough, it can block a portion of the lens.
But all in all, a great little case and even better, no animal products!

Great case for more than one reason.

This is at least my third case of this design. I had to replace my old one because I got a new phone that was bigger. (The old one was also showing signs of wear.) The case works well for me because I like to carry credit cards and driver's license with my phone. The way the phone fits in its own case, held magnetically to the back "flap" of the folding case, works well. Rarely do I remove the phone completely from its own protective case, but I often removed it from the main fold-over case. I can stick it to anything that will hold a magnet. This feature sometimes comes in handy for taking videos. But really you can stick the whole case to something the same way. No need to remove the phone. I just walked over to our refrigerator and stuck it on the door. Holds nicely. You could keep your phone on your refrigerator door if you wanted. This case is good for anyone who thinks of a phone case as a wallet, and the magnets make it ideal for sticking the phone anywhere a magnet will stick. If you recycle stuff and want to know whether the material is ferrous or not, the little magnet in the closure tab works for that purpose. Just sayin'.

Lovely and Functional and the Magnetic Hold is Excellent

I can't speak to durability because I've only just received my case, but the case itself is quite lovely and functional. I like the idea of a two part fold over case because while I like having a wallet case, I am not a fan of fighting the case when I'm trying to grab a picture of the kids or hang my phone in my GPS holder. So, the idea of a separate magnetic phone case was appealing. I was a little skeptical it would have a strong hold, but was pleasantly surprised. I'm not worried about the phone falling out at all.

The only con I have is that the credit card slots are quite tight. In the cases I've used before, I've been able to keep most of my cards (membership/insurance/credit/etc) all in the phone case. This one definitely doesn't have the space for that, only a couple can squeeze in, but I like the case so much it's a hassle worth bearing. I'll just have to remember my purse when I run to the doctor's office or library.

Best cell phone holder for woman constantly on the go!

Who thought I would be excited about a phone case, but I am. I use a magnetic cell phone holder in my car for convenience & safety, since I spend a lot of time driving everyday in heavy traffic using a navigation app. For years I thought my only option were thin phone cases that could accommodate a magnet placed between my phone and the case, until I discovered this one. I am so excited to have an attractive phone case with the magnet already built in. It was a real pain placing a magnet in between my phone and old case and trying to keep it in place during the process. This magnet is extremely strong; it sticks to my holder w/o any slippage or movement. The accompanying wallet/wristlet that the cell phone attaches to is in my opinion an extra bonus. It has a place for an ID and slots for a few cards and an inner opening where a little cash/receipts etc can be kept, if needed. It also has the cut out for the phone’s camera just in case you need to use it that way. I don’t even use my wallet any longer. I just take my phone off the holder in the car attach it to the wristlet holder and either toss it in my purse or just use it as is around my wrist. The cell phone case and detachable wristlet case is very well made; the stitching around both pieces is attractive & flawlessly sewn. It is holding up exceptionally well given how I use it stuffing it w/a few extra cards & cash. This is truly one of my favorites finds and best purchases. I am definitely going to order another one in a different color soon.

I've only had this a couple of weeks. It looks nice. All the holes line up right. The stitching seem good enough. Color is as described. I got the brown/reddish brown color. I don't know what the material is but it is not forgiving like leather. It is very tight. Cards are hard to get in and out of the slots. The driver's license window is not big enough to actually show your license. You will have to pull it out. Also, cash does not fit in the cash slot (I've tried every way of folding it). It will poke out into the bend of wallet. The magnet is good and mounts and holds well. The case fits on the phone nicely. I like the way it looks. I don't think I would buy this one again though but for 11.99 not bad. It looks just like photos.
