This first Tasmin Archer I owned blew me away. Combine her four terrific interpretations of Elvis songs with live perfomances of songs from "Great Expectations" and an acoustic version of "Sleeping Satellite" and it's the perfect companion to her "Great Expectations" CD.

A subsequent British release, "Premium Gold" includes more of the concert. If you've never seen Archer in person, she sounds delightful, rocking out on "When It Comes Down To It."

Since 1994, Tasmin has swerved in a more fascinating direction, but that doesn't make this short album any less worthwhile, especially if you obtain it at a "used" bargain price.

Tasmin Archer is one of the best. I bought this album for her cover of Elvis Costello's "Deep Dark Truthful Mirror", but kept it for every song on the album, it's fantastic.
