This is a fun little novelty item, but you have to understand it to be just that. . . A simple notebook with designated spots to write in usernames, passwords, and I think URLs. . . but don't get it twisted. . . . That's literally all it is. . . In fact, it does NOTHING that you can't do with a piece of paper, or even a regular notebook. . . Indeed, it's probably a really bad idea to write important passwords in there as simply the look and title of it invites curious (or malicious) eyes to open it and see what's in it. . . purpose defeated. . .

Might be good for "remembering" things which don't need any sort of security such as grandma's lasagna recipe because you just can't ever quite remember the secret ingredient (it's love, by the way), etc. . . but please don't write any passwords in here. . . and don't buy it if you think it's somehow going to help in anyway with passwords and such. . . keep in mind that you would also need to carry it with you everywhere, or make sure to store it somewhere that you won't forget where it is. . . again, inaccessibility when needed, and forgetfulness to take it with you defeats the purpose. . . There are a billion digital ways to store your passwords securely where you don't need to remember to write anything down, take anything with you (other than the phone that you already take everywhere anyway), and you only have to remember one password (and likely not even that considering biometrics on phones these days). . . all for free or less expensive than this. . .

Maybe I'm being dumb for thinking about it in this context, and I "should know better", etc. . . but most people wouldn't. . . so advertise with propriety people. . . call it a fun novelty item, or remind people that it's not secure and better suited for keeping up with various people's birthdays, anniversaries, addresses, etc. . .

I had bought this book for a friend because he is constantly calling me to ask “what’s the password to my wifi?” Or “what’s the password to my Netflix?” Etc. He thought it was a joke at first, but after I told him it was an actual book for him to write down all of the information he’s always forgetting, he has used it ever since! It was such a big hit with him that I decided to buy one for my mom and my stepdad, as they too are always calling me to ask what the password is to whatever electronic in their houses. I’ve tried showing them how to save this info in their phones, but then I get calls asking how they get to that screen again! This is the perfect solution, and it also allows me to get in digs and jokes about them not being able to remember their name and threatening to put them in the home I saw on 20/20 when they go completely senile! These will make a great addition to their Christmas presents!

I ordered this for my dad and uncle after always being asked what their username/passwords are or what they should use that's strong enough. I can hardly keep track of my own let alone two boomers. The way they talk about their password books is hilarious. Anytime they get a new device or make a new account they're running to find the book to add information. I would encourage the use of pencil or white out as things change all the time. My OCD can't handle just crossing things off, but to each their own. If you're forgetful or have someone in your life who needs help this is a great item.

I don't care that there's no alphabet tabs or whatever I will never ever go without one of these again. I can finally abandon all the loose pieces of paper I write all my passwords down on. If you have ADHD like me and you worry one day you will lose all your passwords, get one of these!! The object these days in our eWorld is to have different passwords for each and every account we have. Well, that's beyond my memory capacity, so I've bought this book to help me out (considering I can't upgrade my existing capacity any longer!) . The good on this book is that it holds a lot of info, and it's built to be handled on a consistent basis. I still use it as my prime to this day. I do NOT store my info on my computers...which may be paranoid, but I've been hacked a few times so this stands as a way to prevent those malusers from gaining access the easy way. The bad is that it's not structured to my liking. I prefer to have an "A" section all the way to "Z". But that's me. If you're a little less challenged to my structural needs, this works great for you. Overall, an excellent purchase!
