This revived our W1926 machine! This was an easy job given that you have the right tools, which is basically a long extender or two and a few flexible bits. Super simple and straight forward. Thanks to the previous reviewer, I dove right into the repair after work. I imagined that the shocks would have leaked some grease out, and wearing rubber gloves seems like a brilliant idea now.
You should have a good, thin flashlight so you can push past the hoses on the left side and see what the repair entails. Not a hard repair, but you have to be limber and flexible. It took me about 45 minutes but like previous reviewer I spent a lot of time cleaning the soap dish and behind it, as well as draining the pump which had some not exactly fresh water in it. I think that I need to convince my mom to use powder detergents and turn the heat UP when she washes.
Can't wait to load it up with heavy towels and see how much the spin has improved.
I could push the old shocks together with one finger, new ones required a full hand and against the tile to budge! What a difference!
