One thing I have put into practice is that I don't buy anything unless I think about it and is truly needed. For example, during the sales after the holidays there were ornaments and lights I wanted and they were a good bargin, but I didn't need them. I have more than enough already. Same thing with clothes. The book also reminded me of things I knew but had forgotton and included somethings I already do (like never paying full price for anything) . But I don't think I can practice everything she does. She seems happy and so does her family. I plan to follow her blog for more ideas. It has been awhile since I read the book, but will revisit it often. I think anyone could find something to help them spend less in this book.
I have payed off all my debt and want to keep it that way. The many
Ideas in this great book has helped me save quite a bit of money. It is
definitely worth the price of this book. Why pay full price for things when
You can go to garage sales or recycle? I want my hard earned money
to go as far as possible and this book has tons of creative ideas!
