Shoo Fly, Please Bother Me Paperback – September 12, 2012
About the Author
Chris Karim began writing for children nine years ago after earning a Master's Degree in Education from Syracuse University. His strong respect for children can be seen in his popular website, letkidslead.com, which encourages kids to create stories, offer solutions to sticky situations, play fun and challenging games, provide feedback, and more. In Chris's words, "I wanted to build a website that gave kids a voice."
Chris was inspired to write his latest book, Shoo Fly, Please Bother Me, when a friendly yet slightly annoying fly visited him at a harborside restaurant in Nantucket.
Other books by Chris Karim: Be Little, an action-packed novel about a bullied boy who must decide if he has the courage and ingenuity to use his small size to perform a giant-sized rescue.
Little Leaf, a tender story about a leaf who, through a perilous journey, finds a new answer to the question, "What makes a home?"

young ones shelves. Chris Karims' story line is very relatable. 'I know
I've chased a pesky fly or two around my house in a similar manner'. I only
wish that I had the clever idea as a kid that Robert does at the end of the
story. I LOVE the retro illustrations that Jason Smith came up with. He
really brought this story to life in a fun/funny way. The 3D glasses are hilarious!
I have to admit, Robert does remind me of a young Conan O'Brien ;)
