I bought these 'cause they were CHEAP. I can't say I got what I paid for. I'd say I overpaid.
I can't remember now, what I needed them for. They were marginally useful. I tried recently to use them again and had no success. They don't seem to stay aligned.
The cauls (or whatever they're called) that lock the movable head interfere with resting the clamp on a table. there are only two whereas most other pipe clamps have three.
The female threads are poorly cut and the clamps don't thread onto my pipe clamps more than 3/8".

Save up your money and buy the orange ones.

No rubber pads as shown, faces over 1/8 inch off square. Pipe hole not parallel or even close with the screw so tightening is more than difficult. Would not buy again. Had to grind 1/16 off each face just to square up and I reemed the 15/16 pipe hole true. Took a couple hours. Not worth the time but it became a project. The other clamp only took an hour to true up. If you don't have the metal working tools forget it. Too much variability in the production of these things.

These are the heaviest most rugged clamps in my shop. I believe I would bend the 3/4" pipe before breaking these. They have a nice big and flat clamp pad with a slip on plastic cover, so you spread the force over a larger area. The paint on these are excellent. On one of the sets the threads for the pipe are not machined properly and I cannot get a pipe nipple started. I am confident Amazon will resolve this.
There is a lot of slop in the clamp mechanism design and the threads are your typical Chinese thread. They are not as smooth as Pony Acme thread. If you are used to Pony pipe clamps where you build force with one or two turns, on these you need to take up slack with the sliding part of clamp and then four or five turns to build force. Great for those akward clamping tasks where a C-Clamp will not fit and most other clamps do not have the throat capacity. They will stand up, but the pawl latches are sticking up higher than the flat portions of the feet.
