It's too bad the the name brand is Shop-Vac, because as a true shop vac it doesn't have enough capacity, power or hose diameter. It should be called a garage vac, because it's absolutely perfect as a car and garage vacuum. Being wall mounted it's never in the way, while the long hose makes it easy to reach the entire car interior even when you park it just outside of the garage. It is loud, but all vacuums are loud, so don't let those who say it's abnormally so influence you.
I have one quibble. The wall mount is designed so that the canister hangs from it. To empty it you would have to take the entire unit off the wall, then detach the motor section and put it somewhere while you empty the canister. A much handier arrangement is to have the motor section hung from the mount, so when you want to empty the canister you can unlatch it and drop it, leaving the motor section still hanging. I made a 6 inch by 6 inch 'L' bracket from a 2x4, which the motor section hangs from by its handle.

I am only giving this a 4 rating, because the hose is not as long as my last hanging shop-vac. Also the holder for the hose is not tall enough to hold all of the hose and it keeps falling off. It is a lot louder than my last one. They also changed the hose from the front to the side. WHY? I would buy another one, because their quality is good, but I wish they would leave well enough alone and not try to improve the old one that was just fine in the first place. My old one lasted for years. I hang mine in the basement stairway and use it inside my house for three rooms.(well, before they shortened the hose. } Like central vacuuming.

Be aware that your kit may or may not arrive with the hose adapter being formed wrong. First one showed up looking deformed and possibly related to the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Filed a claim on Amazon and they sent another unit, took that out, returned the other for Warranty.

Vacuum works super well and the hose is surprisingly long (I wish I could say the same). It gets the job done restoring my 5.0 Mustang and cleaning all of the cars and trucks. It's also pretty lite and easy to move around when the hose isn't long enough (often true of myself). I enjoy the wall mount as well. I don't ever move it.

Word to the wise- The wall mount is great but it creates an echo chamber for the exhaust port on the vacuum. You will probably questions life choices if you're nearby while it's on. My suggestion is to use all of your house and suck away elsewhere that isn't near the exhaust. You'll thank ol' Hollywood Steve for this tip (just the tip) if you abide.
