I used them for keychains for a group of people. I've made a lot of other things with them, and I've been using them sporadically over the last few months. They respond really well to markers (sharpies) and colored pencils, and run through the printer really well. If you put them through the printer be sure to change the paper size to make sure you don't waste a sheet!
I thought it would be cute to make a car mirror dangle thing to match my new bright yellow xterra with LAB RAT vanity plates. So I tried a key chain first. Sooooo much fun, I forgot how awesome this stuff is....
Take the baking advice in the reviews. I'm glad I did.
The shrink ratio is about 3:1 . This was done with regular colored pencils. Can't wait to try sharpies!
Last year my son traced Pokemon designs to put them inside a plastic ball ornament. Most recently we had a dog-themed birthday party and the kids designed their own pet ID tags. We colored them with Sharpies. The plastic has a shiny side and a rough side. It's easier to color on the rough side, but we learned the hard way that we should write the letters backwards so that they can be read on the shiny side. They were adorable!
