About the Author
I am an established writer who has written articles in magazines, blogs, and various newsletters. I have an extensive experience of writing in diverse publications world wide. As a writer, I have had unique experiences over 20 years in my career. The first and the most fundamental experience has been that writing began to be recognized as an independent profession only with the onset of internet era. The internet has truly unleashed the dormant potential of writers with the adage ‘content is king’. It has made me feel truly liberated because there are endless platforms to showcase your work and there are endless niches to write into. The second most profound experience has been that a writer must not only write but learn to sell their work. I currently work for different clients and also write independently on different web platforms. In the process of building my career, I have come to learn a valuable lesson. It is not for your personal satisfaction alone that you write, rather you write for others pretty much like any other professional who works for others. Your writing is only as good as others can empathize with it. The others empathize with your work only if it solves their problem or gives an insight into their problems. The others empathize with your work only when they get a feeling of dejavu or your work conforms to at least a part of their experience. The second important lesson which I have endeavored to include in my narratives is the unique way of telling a story. There are hundreds of thousands of writings on pretty much every issue you can think of, but it is how unique is your story that sets you apart from the crowd.
