I took a risk on this scope since it is less popular than some alternatives. This scope is worthy of the praise sung by various reviews online. It has excellent features for the money and is perfect for the electronics hobbyist or ham operator. Sufficient bandwidth, small footprint, and abundant intuitive settings. There are some advanced features I'm still discovering like various triggering modes and visualization modes (such as a nifty time span feature that allows you to see the entire waveform while focusing and scrolling through certain features). This scope fires up in seconds. Annoyingly, it asks for your language every time it starts, but it's no big deal. After that, I only had one other glitch where I couldn't set the trigger level and received an error of some sort ("Function unavailable" or something to that effect). A quick punch of the "Default Setup" button and I was back in business. The AUTO button actually does a decent job of choosing settings. The probes suck but they are fine for my application, and at least they have compensation adjustments. The screen has excellent resolution and viewing angles. Deep memory is fantastic and saves to USB thumb drives very efficiently, although renaming the files is a pain. I don't do anything fancy with the scope, just view waveforms.

If you can afford a few more bucks, don't buy a USB/PC-based or MP3 player oscilloscopes when you can get this nice bench top scope. This will blow those away in terms of raw performance and user interface.

All in all, I couldn't be happier. I would definitely buy this scope again. I've not seen a better "low-end" Chinese DSP based scope in terms of build quality or performance. It really is packed with functionality and value. You'd be really hard-pressed to distinguish this from a entry-level Agilent or Tektronix. It really is amazing. Ten years ago, this scope would have cost $10k. Bravo Siglent!

After trialing both an Atten and a Rigol scope, this Siglent is the clear winner. The functionality is the same on all 3 scopes, but the Siglent combines the larger display size of the Atten with even better than the memory depth of the Rigol. The Siglent has 2 meg memory depth. I could have saved myself a lot of postage if I'd decided on this scope to begin with, but it was worth paying the postage to switch.

I'm still new to a lot of this but what I've learned so far is this scope is quite comparable to the other models. It comes with a thick 125p ebook user manual which I've found extremely helpful as a novice. The unit itself appears made well enough or sturdy enough to possibly handle the impact of a drop should it happen. :( The resolution is a little lower on these then some of the other units even if it offers a larger screen but it makes up for it with other aspects like extended memory. The boot up time seems to take under 15 seconds and the response times are fairly quick for the price as well. Overall I have no real complaints. It seems like a very well built entry level oscilloscope that should hold me over for sometime.

Considering what digital scope can cost I was not expecting too much - But! It arrived excellently packed and went to work right away to look at my SSB transmission waveforms for a talk I was giving. This units brings my shack right up-to-date with test equipment at a price I can afford and a performance that is surprising.

Operates flawlessly. Really good value for an 'economy' model scope. Takes up small footprint in my electronics/ham radio room. All in all, I'm very, very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended

So far it may be going back. 50% of the time after warmup it develops an internal oscillation that rides on the input signal. It can be notched out by the filter but that's not an acceptable fix. I cannot use it next to my IFR 1500 Communications test set. It puts out a high frequency glitch, possibly a switching power supply in the scope? Aside from that it works as advertised

Replacement scope came quickly. Amazon is the best. Second scope working great.

This is my first oscilloscope and I am trying to prove, you can teach an old dog new tricks. After reading the quick start guide I hooked up the scope, plugged in a test probe and calibrated the probe. No problems, nothing I did not understand and it went exactly as the book said it should. I did some probing inside an audio amp is have been working on and shortly found one of the problems I had been chasing. I maybe not an electronic tech and all the specs on this scope did not mean too much to me. It is more than adequate for my test bench. If you are looking for an easy to use scope with a great color display, in my opinion, this is the one.

I'm pleasantly surprised! This scope has tons of features and seems to be of pretty good quality.

It seems almost identical to the more expensive "100MHz" version. It has the same sample rate and same memory depth (both substantially better than the cheaper 50MHz version). As the description says, it can theoretically handle waveforms up to 150MHz pretty easily, so I'm not sure where the titular frequency rating comes from.

The only thing I'm concerned about at this point is the relatively prolific use of mechanical relays inside the scope, but that concern may be unfounded. It just seems somewhat anachronistic and prone to failure.

The interface isn't amazing, but it definitely gets the job done. It doesn't take long to figure out if you've used a scope before. It also has a "help" button that explains any button or menu item.

The probes this scope comes seem nice. They have these little colored rings you can pop on and off, which are useful for keeping track of which probe goes to which channel.

You can render both signals on the same screen with the same trigger, or on separate screens with separate triggers. The scope can do FFTs, basic high/low/bandpass filters (Although with a disappointing frequency range; the filters may be in hardware.).

I would absolutely 100% recommend this scope to anyone.
