I keep reading about how good Sigma brushes are. For this particular one, I'm unsure about that claim. This is a very soft brush, softer than I was expecting. It also picks up too much powder. I understand it's a blending brush but in the morning I tend to use only one brush because of time. Sephora Pro brushes are stiffer and give me more control over my eyeshadow, while still allowing blending. I'll keep this one for travel or a spare. But I already bought a new Sephora Pro brush to replace it. The difference is apparent.

P.S. I don't work for Sephora nor am I sponsored by them. I've just aways been satisfied with their Pro line. I just wanted to branch out. I'll be trying Tarte brushes next, they seem to be similar quality.

Great shape and density for blending

I liked this brush so much that I bought a second one. The shape and density is great for blending my powder eyeshadows. I personally prefer this shape to the ponytail (which is generally used for blending, I think), but that is a personal preference. I am by no means a make-up expert or anything. This is one of my first brushes from this brand and, considering my experience, I will definitely consider other brushes from this brand, especially at this price point. I usually buy expensive brushes (kevyn aucoin, laura mercier, chanel, etc.), but couldn't afford to have multiples for switching colors, etc. So, I decided to look into relatively good quality lower-end brushes. My local department store actually carries some sigmas, so I tried out a couple there. They are soft, effective, and after using them for a couple of months, pretty durable.

Great blending brush! This does a great job of diffusing the eyeshadow and blending it out with very little touch. I use a windshield-wiper method and that works great. No issues with washing the brushes either (all the color is easily removed with just a little baby shampoo, and I've yet t notice any shedding). I would definitely repurchase this if I ever needed to, but if you're careful with these brushes they can last several years. I would highly recommend this to any woman looking to upgrade her eyeshadow brushes from EcoTools or Real Techniques, or this could make a great gift if both with other Sigmas brushes (I promise I'm not a paid shill for Sigma, I just happen to own a lot of their eye brushes and I've yet to be disappointed!).

Love the brush!!! Arrived promptly too. The one reason I gave it four stars was because of the packaging. You can see that the bristles were not fully covered by the plastic wrap. But overall, love it.

I own several Sigma brushes and I am recording this one after using my other one on a daily basis since I purchased it in October. I LOVE this brush. It’s perfect for the lid and the crease, it blends PERFECTLY. This is the perfect shadow/crease brush. I already use other Sigma brushes for my brow bone, outer corner, lower lash line, etc., so I can’t say how it would work for those areas. I love Sigma brushes in general. This one is multipurpose and gets the job done. Sounds like we’re saving lives here or something.

I have heard how great sigma brushes are so I took the plunge and bought this one. The anatomy of the brush is very nice. The weight is good and the brush is well made. I only have one problem and that's the shape of the bristles. Instead of being round they are arranged in a more flat position. This brush is said to be a dupe for a Mac brush. I purchased the actual Mac brush after purchasing this one and I'm sorry to say it is not a dupe. This is a well made brush but just not what I was looking for.

I've read many great reviews for the Sigma E25 and that it was a dupe for the MAC 217 which I've been using for the past ten years. So I was really looking forward to trying this brush. Upon receiving it I felt the brush and found it to be a bit stiff. I tried this a couple of times and it just doesn't measure up. I much prefer the MAC 217 which is softer and smooths out the eyeshadow better.

I'm just really disappointed that I wasted money on this brush.
