Review.... As if it could be a bad one. These things are like crack in a can.

Flavors are fantastic, however. I cannot even begin to describe my frustration with their coloring. There's like 4-5 brown beans, all look very similar and all taste VERY different.

Someone at Jelly Belly has a sense of humor. The buttered popcorn one has the yellow speckles about 20% of the time. I cannot describe just how much I hate that bean... I hate it so much that I won't even take chances, all white beans go into the TRASH where the popcorn ones belong! There are 5-6 different flavored red beans too, all very similar and hard to tell apart. About half the time the super cinnamon ones don't have the yellow speckles, the pinaple ones can sometimes be white..... I don't ever remember Jelly Belly having these issues. But, they're the Cadillac of jelly beans and I've had a lifelong addiction to them.

great product, poor delivery. Shipped usps & left in black roadside mailbox, weather of 98 degrees. Got pkg after been in oven about 4 hours. Was able to salvage less than a third of beans. Rest were “goo”. Notified customer service & was advised needed photo. Had already thrown sticky container away as “not a returnable item” was noted in order form. Advised CS of this & never received a Sorry or any kind of response back!

Contrary to other reviewers, I had a great mix of "friuit" and "opaque" jelly beans. Did I notice one occurring more than the other? No - not at all. And I ate them one at a time.

I'm guessing their manufacturing plant has 3 tiers of rejection on the line:

1) The first tier rejects beans that are really messed up - clumped together and oddly flavored. ~~You won't see those beans here~~ , in fact there is a product called "Jelly Belly Rejects" where you can get these.

2) Again, I'm guessing, the 2nd tier rejects beans that are off weight or not colored completely correct. You see these here. There is no reduction of quality in the flavor or appeal of the bean.

3) Notice the little labels are only on SOME of the beans in this big jar? Again, just guessing, but they probably reject certain beans for an off-placed or missing "Jelly Belly" label. They don't want these going into their special smaller packages of beans.

So we see a little of tier 2 rejects, and a little of tier 3 rejects in our big ol' bin. But why do we not care? Because we wanted a ton of mixed-flavor jelly beans at a reasonable price. And that ladies and gentleman, is what i got.

The beans came in the advertised container, they came on time (irrelevant, but that was cool), and lasted me 2 months. The jar is now being used for coins, which I will likely use to purchase...............

Just as Good as Jelly Belly...

These Kirkland Signature Jelly Belly...Jelly Beans are basically Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. Not only are they the same 49 flavors you get when you purchase a 49 flavor pack from Jelly Belly, but these also have the Jelly Belly logo. They taste identical to a standard purchase of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans as well but cost much less per pound it seems. To be honest my original review of Jelly Belly brand jelly Beans sums up Kirkland Signature Jelly Belly's perfectly.

"The jelly belly's I got were excellent quality as I am used to with the Jelly Belly brand. There is no comparison between a Jelly Belly bean and a generic jelly bean you find in the supermarket. Jelly Belly beans are richly flavored, with each flavored bean having a distinct flavor to it. This isn't just some sugary bean you pop into your mouth and enjoy a sweet treat. Each tiny bean is packed with flavor, and by having 49 distinct flavors (plus mix n' match combos) the variety makes each portion of jelly beans a flavorful adventure."

The only real difference here is that Kirkland Signature comes out much cheaper per pound. Amazon seems to typical be charging around $7.80 to $8.99 per pound for Jelly Belly... Kirkland Signature comes in at around $6.50 per pound (as of 11/25/2011). Still that is a steep price to pay for delicious jelly beans, but it is worth it. I usually won't pay more than around $7.99/lb for Jelly Belly so these Kirkland Signature's come in at a good price range.

This product I would of given 5 stars (just like the Jelly belly 2-pound pouch) but what holds it back is that Jelly Belly's make for a rather expensive treat; But a treat worth indulging in! As for the price, yes you can easily get this product at Costco for cheaper (you can get 3-pound tubs of Jelly Belly at BJ's Warehouse also), but for an online purchase the price is quite fair.
