If you want to make your printing platform flat enough, ideal stuff is glass sheet. Tempered Silicon glass is rated for higher temperatures than normal sheet glass making it a better material for use as a heated bed. After cracking a few sheets of normal glass from rapidly cooling or heating, tempered glass will quell your frustrations.

It does seem to be nice dull edges and square and unwarped but I can't easily use this on the bed unless I shrink the part sizes to print and find some other means of attaching it.
Due to a close call with a dropped tool, I bought a second as a backup. Once again, I find this to be quite flat and is very consistent with the first one, and works great with the PEI - the two are very close to the same thickness, so very little adjustment for leveling to switch between them.
The kicker? I already installed my PEI sheet on this so I'm out a lot more than just the cost of this glass.
The best way I've found to use the glue is to use a fresh application for each print. It only takes a few seconds to apply and wash off so its not an issue. My process is first clean off any left over glue/residue from previous prints with a wet cloth, and dry. When the bed is cold (e.g <30C) apply the glue stick in a parallel zigzag patterns along an axis. I apply three coats this way, all at once without waiting for the previous to dry. I then let the glue dry completely before start heating the bed and start printing. The glue drys pretty quickly so I generally use this time for a quick bed leveling check.

Ain't no compensating for that.
It is bowed significantly close to the center, but one corner is super high. Drove me nuts for months. The price is great and all, but the problem is that this piece of glass is totally worthless if it isn't:
A) Absolutely flat
B) able to maintain flatness after being repeatedly heated.
Sorry, but if a product arrives and is not performing the two only purposes of that product, it gets 1 star.
