I have been using PCP&C power supplies in all of my builds for the past six years. I would not dream of using anything else. This PSU (as with all of their others) are rated for continuous power at ~50 degrees Celsius. It has a max wattage output of ~820W. It is quiet, has connections for all of your power needs, and best of all it carries a seven year warranty!

PROS:
*Lots of connections
*20/4 pin for older or newer mobos
*750W continuous power
*88% efficiency rating (for the environmentally conscious)
*7 year warranty
*Great price
*QUIET

CONS:
*Not modular
*Does not come in assorted colors
*Refuses to print money

Seriously... buy it.

Have been using PC Power and Cooling power supplies for many years and never had a problem. This particular power supply is the quietest I have used. Hardly know the computer is running. These are quality units.

I am the 'computer tech' guy of my friends and family. I have worked on many computers including building them. This is the best power supply I know of. You get enough wires with enough different heads and enough length that unless you have a computer with a crazy amount of things to hook up to power, you will not need any splitters. PC Power and Cooling power supplies are the most reliable I have found, and they are long lasting. I believe they help your system remain more stable and last longer than other manufacturers who do not build as solid a product. Based on my observations that computers with these power supplies last longer and remain more stable, generally, than systems I help friends with that don't have a PC Power and Cooling power supply in them. I have not 'crunched numbers' to believe this. It is just a general observation. In my opinion, if you need a power supply buy one from PC Power and Cooling.

Note: PC Power and Cooling power supplies supply the rated power 'at operating temp'. Not 'at start up temp', like most manufacturers. So don't buy another manufacturers 1000 watt supply. You will get better power, and likely more power, from PC Power and Cooling 750 watt. Unless you only want to run your computer for about 5 minutes, until the power supply has reached operating temp.

I used to look at the performance reviews to pick a power supply, but after having several go bad after a year or two, have changed that to look for power supplies that are well built, using the best components.

This one meets stands out as being a great price, great design and great components.

The only obvious issue is that this is not a modular cable unit, but it does not cost what a modular unit would.

I know of no better power supply for the price.

I am not familiar with this brand name. After reading many reviews, not only here at Amazon, plus did some research and couple the fact it was at a good sale price and rebate plus the 7 year warranty, I knew I couldn't go wrong with this. I have been using this in an old system for testing about a month now - works great and is quiet. This will be used for a new build with overclocking in mind in the near future.

Received this PSU for my new Ivy Bridge build and PCPC is still as solid as ever after being purchased by OCZ. I have used PCPC's for a number of previous builds and never been let down. I showed very little to no voltage ripple while overclocking and stress-testing with OCCT for hours which exactly what you expect from the company. Each line is just a hair over 12V/5V/3.3V lines but still well within spec (+/-5%). I'd rather have them 2% over than under.

There are a plethora of connectors available and the PSU not being modular (everyone's main beef) wasn't a problem for me. A lot of people are going with the Fractal/Corsair/Antec P280 cases so hiding the extra cables shouldn't be a problem (I personally used a P280). The cables were just long enough for the 24pin and 8pin mobo connectors though so be careful if you happen to building in a mid to full tower case. Saving $20+ AND having a company that has been in the game for forever was more important to me than paying extra for modular. It's not a big of a deal as you think.

In short - buy this PSU. It's a killer price and you won't be let down.

This product lives up to its name -- the loudest thing in my PC right now is its spinning HDD. Wondering whether my PC is on -- since I can't hear it! -- is a good problem to have.

As far as reliability -- it powers my 3770k/32GB RAM/GTX670 PC just fine, and I never have to worry about it. Can't beat that.

This replaced my PC Power and Cooling Silencer 500W unit
which is still working fine I just wanted more power available
for all the other upgrades that I'm doing to my system.

All output voltages stay right where their supposed to regardless of load.
No heating issues. The fan rarely even spools up above idle and even when
it does I can't hear it above any of my other fans.

Very happy with this purchase.
