Scrambling to forge a revised plan to save her inheritance, Vivian’s convinced the only solution is to add a new benefactor to her sexy stable of suitors. But with a rival sabotaging her business at every turn, she fears even a wealthy man’s help will come too late.
Can Vivian preserve her birthright before it’s snatched away for good?

In this entry, it becomes clear we are getting down to the endgame. Viv almost has everything she needs to get her family farm back - if the bad guys would just quit changing the rules on her. She has to figure out how to deal with her brother and everything he's done, as well as handle the new, unfair timeline for her family land to be auctioned off. Everything she has built will for nothing if she can't add one last man to her network, one with the funds to make up what she's missing to bid on her family's land. People are still after the seeds, and while it seems like they could be the answer to all of her problems, they just might be more trouble than they're worth.
As Vivian's problems become more complicated, her network really shines. One of the things I love about this series is that there are no "manufactured conflicts" in the romance. Misunderstandings that could be cleared up just by a simple conversation, for example. These characters actually communicate with one another, and any time Viv starts feeling the pressure and doubting herself and everything else, her romantic partners step in and show her just how special she is and how far they're willing to go to support her and each other. Not that they don't have ups and downs and flaws of their own, but they handle them like adults, each person's strengths complimenting another's weaknesses. They are figuring out how to work as a team, and it's lovely to see their combined efforts thwart the people who want to see Viv and her network fail.
The side characters in this continue to impress, and there is never a dull moment. The pacing is spot on, so that you're always turning the page to know what happens next. My only quibble is that after this, there is only one book left, and I'm going to be so sad to see this series end. Maybe the author will do a spin off series, because I would love to see this universe continue.
I am so happy that I'm reading this series. Vivian is such a complex character. As the series progresses, we (readers) get to watch her transformation from a bitter, shy, insecure university graduate to a confident (sometimes) and strong woman. Her insecurities raise their ugly heads often, yet her decisions--esp. assembling her network of consorts, friends, and crew--are right on target. She becomes a sensible head of family while retaining her compassion and caring for her "family."
Can wait to read the final book.
