Fast transfer! Comfortable to carry

I was able to transfer about 1TB of data onto this drive very quickly. It maxed out all my other hard disks and still didn't hit 100% usage. I wired this through a USB-Sata3 adapter because I plan on using it with my laptop, and the speed is just crazy good. I really have a good experience with Silicon Power storage devices, I even have one of their SD cards. Their devices usually transfer much faster than competitors' and are for a much cheaper price than the other half of their competitors. The drive is also comfortable to carry around, so if you aren't planning to put it in a desktop, you can still USB-power it as an external drive and eject it comfortably. There are no sharp corners on it. Since it's a standard mount, putting it in a desktop would be no problem either! Excited to put my 2TB of data on this SSD so I can avoid carrying around my HDD that could mechanically fail. Also, the speed will be much, much faster!

You need to make sure you have a free Molex power connection in your PC or laptop and a SATA cord to connect it to your motherboard. It also does not come with screws. Make sure you get fine thread screws that are SHORT in length. You may also need a monting bracket to install it in your PC. Most laptops and some PC cases already have built in mounting options for these drives.
This seems to be a nice drive. VERY light. We'll see how long it lasts and how well it endures heat. Packaging from manufacturer was minimal. I bought it to add some decent storage to my wife's PC. The 1TB SSD I bought her was very reasonbly priced and Amazon shipping was fairly fast and free.

Picked up a pair of these SSD's to transfer data from one system to another. The idea did not work as the format for one system was not readable by the other system. So I just installed them into my iXsystems Mini X+ for my TrueNAS Core system. The system read them without any problem and allowed me to run them in any configuration I wanted. I could pair them up as a Raid configuration or as a way to speed up the HDD's I have in the system. I chose to just use them for fast storage.

They work great !

I highly encourage anyone that want some cost effective SSD's to consider this for purchase.

Its working very well as of now. Crystaldiskmark over 550Mbps Read and over 500 Mbps Write. Obviously it will reduce as it gets filled, but at this price of 3.7K for 1TB, there is no alternative (Note this is Desktop - A320M MB & R3 3200G).
