It’s nice that they have fairly good lids that prevent leaking, and youre able to stack them on top of each other. It would be nice if the lids snapped onto the tray more securely.
Be careful not to over fill the ice tray; it becomes nearly impossible to take the ice out, even if you run them over water and twist the trays to loosen them up. I’ve had ice trays where a simple twist of the tray would break and loosen the ice, but with this ice tray, I have to twist AND run it under water first.
Overall, I think these are the best ice trays you can get at this quantity and price.

Make sure not to fill all the way to the top

These things are pretty good with the exception of having to be conscious about how much you fill them. If you fill them all the way to the top then it can be difficult to get them out. Majority of the water has to be in the green silicone area for an easy pop out but there isn't much of green silicone area so you won't get huge cubes. Just takes some getting used to.

I was hoping to love these because our old trays are just so hard to get the cubes out. They are much smaller cubes than I thought although that is my fault for not really paying attention. I like the lid comes with it makes it easy to get from sink to freezer without spilling and also is easier to stack with the other trays. However, it takes a while for them to pop out. Hitting the bottom of each cube for some is easy but most don't come out easily and I have to either run some water over them or leave the tray out for a few minutes. In either case it defeats the purpose of my buying them.

Ice cube trays are not very solid

I bought these ice cube trays in hoping for a fantastic new innovation. It has been a long time since I needed ice cube trays. I have always relied on the ice made automatically from the refrigerator. However, our fridge broke down. To the rescue were these new ice trays that I ordered. At first, they seemed terrific. On most cubes, I needed to apply only a fair amount of pressure to release the ice from the tray.

Maybe I was filling the water to the incorrect level. However, how am I to know. Most cubes were easy to release. However, some cubes were very difficult. Twisting and turning the tray to try to release the cubes (not very extreme), resulted in breaking the tray.

I started with the three that came with the package. Over a short time it dwindled to two. Now, I am at my final tray. This was over a three month period with very seldom use.

Our fridge broke down one time. We had the Sear's service come out. During that short time we used the trays. Lost one during the ice battle. Fridge repaired...temporarily. About three months later, fridge died again. Used the trays again. Lost one again (so far) during the ice battle. I am down to one and do not even bother.

Likes:
The idea of the silicon with the ability to push out the cubes.
The size of the cubes.

Dislikes:
The fragile nature of the trays and how easy they are to break.
Water is likely to leak with tray lids on if you walk with them to any location.

Not easy to break

I like these trays. The cubes are smaller but just put more in a glass. Don't overfill or they are harder to get out. If they are not popping out easily just give a little twist and they'll come out. And with a little twist they won't break like the old plastic ones I have. I had to twist one of those so much it broke. Since they make smaller cubes they also freeze more quickly and with three of them you can freeze and release more frequently. I recommend them.

When I started to remove the ice cubes from tray, it snapped in half. The plastic is not break resistant- the cubes eventually came out fine. I glued the pieces back together and I will have to be very careful when I remove them. They need to be made out of a more flexible plastic. The one I got at the dollar store is much more flexible- I bought these because they had what I thought was superior materials and they have lids. I hope they fix this issue.
