I am a small-handed woman and I really like the feel of it in my hand. I also like that it doesn't have such a thick blade like the other highly rated spatula I recently purchased. This is a good spatula that is silicone (easy cleanup and no sticking) and has a nice feel and balance. It has the right amount of flex vs. stiffness. I would have given it 5 stars except the design has not changed in the 8 years since I bought my last one. And the last one broke off at the hole in the handle since that area is the only area not reinforced with a metal spine. I assume the new one will break in as many years as well. If so, that is still a pretty good run.

I purchased this to replace another Mastrad silicone spatula that finally gave out after five years of heavy use. I can't complain, as five years is quite a long time for this inexpensive of a kitchen implement.
The tip is sturdy yet flexible, the single piece construction is easy to clean (I'm always worried about gunk getting stuck in those detachable-head spatulas), and the shaft is comfortable in your hand without being slippery.

This is a great spatula, except for the ridge in the middle (clearly visible in the photos). It makes it impossible to wipe it clean on the side of a pan so I end up with bits of onion or whatever stuck to it after stirring. I didn't realize what an annoyance that would be when I purchased this to replace another silicone spatula (with a more rounded the ridge). Otherwise, this guy works great.
