Shelf stable and perfect size as not to waste milk
I’m single, live in a camper, and can’t drink cows milk. These packages come with 6 containers and are shelf stable. They are the perfect size for my camper fridge and my lifestyle. No more milk going bad!

I'm a foster mom and a clinically diagnosed "obese" child was placed in my home about a month and a half ago. He's the sweetest little boy in the world- but he definitely needed some help with his weight. As someone who's struggled with an eating disorder I did not want to make a big deal out of his weight. I didn't even want him knowing that he was going on a doctor monitored "low calorie" diet. I wanted him to develop a healthy relationship with food without feeling restricted and 'punished' for his weight. So- I started searching around for delicious low calorie substitutes to regular food. One of his favorites? Chocolate Milk. He usually had a glass or two every day when he got home from school.

He has a sweet tooth (as do I), and I wanted to find something that would be yummy, yet low calorie and healthy that he could sip on as he did his homework. A few minutes searching around and I came across this Silk Vanilla Almond Milk. I ordered this set on Amazon, figuring the price was so cheap how could I not try it? I expected something bitter with a 'vanilla mask' to it. What I received was a genuinely delicious product. This milk is thick- about the thickness of heavy cream. It's a bit darker in color than regular milk in color. It's a perfect texture to drink as a 'milkshake-like snack' or to use in cereal, oatmeal, or mixed with frozen berries.

It's the taste that won this product five stars though. There is a TON of sugar in this product (buyer beware- it's not nearly as healthy as it seems if you're looking at the sugar content). But, the sugar gives it a taste that is so dang yummy! My boy, who was a bit off-put by the 'almond milk' label, took one sip and was very impressed. This stuff is SO good! All of the other kids in my home also jumped on board and now every single kiddo is begging to have a cup of this stuff when they get home from school. And I'm not surprised- it tastes like a milkshake. Unlike an actual milkshake it's VERY low calorie (90 calories a cup - compared to one cup of 2% milk which is 125 calories). It's also packed with vitamins and nutrients including Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D- and E. And a TON of calcium (which is great for another child in my home who's underweight and has had issues with easily breaking bones in the past).

I am unbelievably impressed with this product. It's helped my boy cut down on calorie intake immensely. We've made so many delicious healthy meals with this stuff! He eats it for breakfast with oatmeal and dried berries. We add a little bit of cocoa (mixed with warm water first) to make it into 'chocolate milk' - and the cocoa only adds about 15 calories). AND the best part is that he doesn't feel separated from the other kids, because they also want to drink this milk as an alternative to the regular 'not sweet milk' in our fridge. In fact, two of the children who are underweight drink whole milk instead- and he gets this "special milk", which actually makes him feel really good about eating healthier. I love the positivity that goes along with this milk and his weight-loss!

This milk is shelf-stable and doesn't require refrigeration. I've ordered it in bulk twice now and add containers to the fridge as I need them. I leave the rest in our pantry. It's great for saving storage space, and the price here on Amazon beats the price at the store by nearly 50%. We LOVE this stuff for so many reasons! It's very sweet (personally, I can't drink it plain! I only use it with unsweetened cereal and add water to dim down the sugary taste first). It's shelf stable. It's low calorie. It's packed with vitamins. And best of all? It's helped my kiddo actually feel good about eating "healthier" and losing weight. Hooray! Thanks, Silk! I'll be a long-term customer.

I have never really liked milk. I always knew it was not really natural for a human to consume milk after they were weaned from their mother/formula. And....only humans actually consume milk after they are weaned.
I love almonds, so I thought it was only natural to try Almond "Milk" . I do like the occasional bowl of cereal and the rich cup of hot chocolate.
Keep it cold, shake it good and pour. It work well in just about every instance where milk is used.
Silk comes in so many different varieties of Almond Milk that I am sure just about everyone will find what they are looking for. I use the Vanilla sweetened variety. I also use it because I suffer from Chronic Kidney Disease and regular animal milk actually makes my condition worse.
This product is actually pretty shelf-stable...you can buy in bulk and store on the shelf.
Bottom line: Silk Almond milk comes in a bunch of varieties, is very shelf stable (order in bulk), comes in smaller sized cartons so it wont take up much room in the Fridge, the flavor is delicious (you wont miss milk)
It actually tastes yummy on cereal and hot cocoa....and I am sure a million other different recipes.
It's really affordable.

My definition of this Almond Milk is that it taste better than Cows Milk, it is sweeter and has that yummy vanilla flavor, it isn't as thick or creamy, it is light. It is good for using on cereal or drinking straight from a glass. It has less calories, more protein being a nut. It is wonderful to think there is no shelf life on it. Makes it great for emergencies or when you don't have electricity. The size is smaller, so you can plan on using better and not get more than you need and having it spoil on you. The cost is much cheaper. It also is less risky for Disease and things possibly used in it like antibiotics or hormones. Silk just totally makes sense.

I've loved almond milk ever since a lactose intolerant friend let me try some of hers about 5 years ago and I can't believe how good of a deal this is. I love regular dairy milk, but that stuff can get expensive and it doesn't have nearly as long a shelf life as almond milk. It's shelf stable and the expiration date on mine is well into 2017. One order of this can last me a month or two, it's perfect for smoothies and cereal and makes a stellar coffee creamer. Even my super picky fiancee who recoils in horror at anything he views as even remotely healthy absolutely loves this almond milk, he won't eat cereal with regular milk anymore, it has to be this. He's not a big cereal guy, but when he's in the mood for it we always have some on hand now without having to make a trip to the grocery store, and we're paying so much less than we would at our local grocery store too! Might I suggest making this 6 pack of 32 oz cartons available in the chocolate flavor? My favorite!

I’m so happy that I was able to order the “milk” we drink and love! I’d looked at so many stores (and I live in a “biggish & well known city) and I couldn’t find this particular size, flavour, brand anywhere!! Since I live in a city that has a lot of health conscious people, I was shocked and bummed that I couldn’t find this anywhere! It tastes wonderful, my kids love it, and I can pour a glass of this and drink it (I have an aversion to the taste of cow/goat/animal milk)! It’s delicious!

I love Silk Almond milk. Now that I'm using it instead of regular milk my tummy feels so much better.

What makes this type of Silk Almond milk even better is that it can be stored in my pantry until I open it. With everything going so crazy in the world because of the C-19 virus its great to know that I won't have to worry about my Silk Milk expiration date until December.

Oh, and I can't forget the great price! This order has a package of 6 - 32 ounce containers. The cost is $12.49, that breaks down to $0.07/fluid ounce. Wowzer! I love finding a great deal on a great product. Thank you Silk!
