Amber glass bottles provide a very professional display and are perfect for storing materials which are sensitive to degradation from light. Oftentimes used to store essential oils, they are also ideal for storing chemistry and laboratory chemicals, perfumes & colognes for travel and as a dispenser for medicine cabinet items.

Update: I see they switched the picture since my purchase, so it looks like you may be getting the straight tipped dropper after all. Mine had a ball tip, but the picture showed a ball tip at the time of my purchase. (So it was accurate.)
Amber color reflects the light so that the oils stay fresher longer. The glass dropper is a very nice touch. They came packaged expertly, with even the glass droppers wrapped in little foam sheets to make sure they didn't chip or crack during shipping. And they work like they should.
Light brown or amber bottles due to its ability to prevent ultraviolet light from degrading the potentially photosensitive contents could be helpful for preparing your own solutions long term. Some substances like milk and medicines are negatively affected by light. Since this is the case, I will only use the amber bottles for medicinal use.
Also the cobalt blue bottles. However, I will only use these bottles for non-medicinal use... such as alcohol for fire starting etc...
By using these two colors, they can never be mixed up or if a label falls off, you know to definitely not use the blue for medicinal purposes.
