Pros
-Quiet - can't hear it over the case fans or the fan in my TV
-Short 140mm depth makes it work well in small cases
-Modular - reduces clutter
-34a single +12v rail adequate for most mid-level video cards (Not GTX680 or HD7970)
Cons
-Only one PCIe port
-Included cables are entirely too long for small cases
If using this PSU with a small case, I would also recommend the PP05 cable kit. This will clean up the inside of the case. You will still need to use the original CPU power cable. Also, if you intend to use a video card that requires either two six pin or a six and eight pin PCIe connector, you will be limited to using the original cables as the PP05 kit only comes with single six pin PCIe cables.
Overall, this PSU has been trouble-free and quiet. Alone, it is a great value and remains a good value even with the additional cost of the short cable kit.

Pros:
- Fully modular, though I'm using it an ATX case so this didn't matter too much to me. This may wind up in an HTPC case in the future, so the modularity will be greatly appreciated if/when that happens.
- Very QUIET operation!
- Lots of power on the +12V rail to support power-hungry graphics cards (34A on a single rail).
- Cables come wrapped with mesh and seem very sturdy/high-quality.
- Includes several zip ties and velco to wrap up the cables inside of the case.
Cons:
- No ON/OFF power switch on the back.
- The inputs to connect the power cables had some give to them and seemed a little flimsy but they snapped in just fine.
I wouldn't use a 500W power supply for an SLI/Crossfire setup but for a single card this should be plenty. It is powering the following in my system:
- Intel i5-4570S CPU
- Nvidia GTX 650 Ti
- 2 SATA SSDs
- 2 SATA HDDs
- 1 SATA optical drive
After spending an hour trying to put the case together I found a major problem with this PSU in relation to the case. It is nearly impossible to have the PSU fan down in the case because the main power cord interferes with the two hard drive cages. I have to force the drive cage down, and the power cable bends at a severe angle. I ended up flipping the PSU over and the drive cages now fit normally. Problem is the screen filter at the bottom of the case is rendered useless.
I consider this unacceptable as THIS specific PSU is recommended for the case in question on Silverstone's own website:

You should note though that this PSU does NOT have a power switch.
I have a system with an i5 K version, Asus motherboard, 3 SATA drive, one SSD, Nvidia GTX 770 OC and 3 case fan.
This unit is able to power the system and never stutter while under load (Star Citizen, Witcher 2 and many other graphic intensive games).
I used to have a previous PSU which would just flutter and restart my rig, when playing for few minutes; with this PSU I have no problems at all. Money well spent!
