Name me another PSU that is <=140mm in length, modular to reduce cable clutter and can power a full system with a GPU. Oh wait, you can't. Because the other PSU makers hate money.
With Mini-ITX motherboards becoming overclockable, more enthusiasts are making small gaming builds where every inch matters.
I ordered this for my Mini-ITX system with a Lian Li PC-Q18, i5-3570K, Asrock Z77E-ITX and an old GTX 260.
The reduced cables with the PP05 cable set (bought separately) shaved ~3C off the GPU/CPU temperature because of the increased airflow.

Cons:
They came with the original long cables which is clutter in a system people usually buy this short PSU for.
No power button.

Perfect size for HTPC allthough if you want SLI it's not enough power. It is quiet and i'm maxing the recomended 500w needed for my system with ease. My only gripe is being a short depth PSU "intended" for HTPC or SFF cases it should have included the short cable kit as standard or even a choice instead of having to purchase seperately. Modular is great but I don't need IDE type plugs and would rather have a few single or even double SATA connection cables rather then longer tripple.

This PSU powers a HTPC with ease. It fits well in a Silverstone SG01 case and has worked flawlessly for over one month now.

Pros

-Quiet - can't hear it over the case fans or the fan in my TV
-Short 140mm depth makes it work well in small cases
-Modular - reduces clutter
-34a single +12v rail adequate for most mid-level video cards (Not GTX680 or HD7970)

Cons

-Only one PCIe port
-Included cables are entirely too long for small cases

If using this PSU with a small case, I would also recommend the PP05 cable kit. This will clean up the inside of the case. You will still need to use the original CPU power cable. Also, if you intend to use a video card that requires either two six pin or a six and eight pin PCIe connector, you will be limited to using the original cables as the PP05 kit only comes with single six pin PCIe cables.

Overall, this PSU has been trouble-free and quiet. Alone, it is a great value and remains a good value even with the additional cost of the short cable kit.

This PSU is great. Initially it was emitting a very high pitched noise and I almost sent it back but decided to give it a few days. After just a few hours of use this seems to have gone away completely and now it is very quiet -- MUCH quieter than my previous power supply.

Pros:
- Fully modular, though I'm using it an ATX case so this didn't matter too much to me. This may wind up in an HTPC case in the future, so the modularity will be greatly appreciated if/when that happens.
- Very QUIET operation!
- Lots of power on the +12V rail to support power-hungry graphics cards (34A on a single rail).
- Cables come wrapped with mesh and seem very sturdy/high-quality.
- Includes several zip ties and velco to wrap up the cables inside of the case.

Cons:
- No ON/OFF power switch on the back.
- The inputs to connect the power cables had some give to them and seemed a little flimsy but they snapped in just fine.

I wouldn't use a 500W power supply for an SLI/Crossfire setup but for a single card this should be plenty. It is powering the following in my system:

- Intel i5-4570S CPU
- Nvidia GTX 650 Ti
- 2 SATA SSDs
- 2 SATA HDDs
- 1 SATA optical drive

I got this PSU back in October 2011 to use in a budget gaming system I built.
I had always purchased Corsair PSUs before, but this particular Silverstone model had an optional short cable kit, which ended up being great for my micro ATX case. I'm currently using this to power a Core i5-2500K (overclocked to 4.3), a GTX 560Ti overclocked video card, plus the usual complement of hard drive, SSD, RAM, and 3 fans. I'm quite happy with the stability and build quality of this unit. Add Silverstone to my list of trusted power supply makers.

Simply put, this is the BEST ever!!
I won't ever go back to a non modular power supply.
I have used mine over 2 years now!
I added the short plug set and it made this a DREAM UPS arrangement.
UPS runs beyond QUIET and COOL.
I have had NO problems with mine and do NOT expect to have any.
This was one of my best purchases ever!
