The original NT06-Pro includes the mounting hardware shown above, which supports all popular mainstream sockets other than AMD's AM4, used for Ryzen processors.	The NT06-Pro v2 Mounting Hardware Shown above is the mounting hardware included with the revised NT06-Pro v2. Note the difference in the bracket configuration. It adds support for AMD's AM4 socket, used for Ryzen processors, while retaining compatibility with other sockets.	Option to Mount Second Fan The NT06-Pro and NT06-Pro v2 can be used with processors rated at up to 95W with the included slim 120mm fan. This doesn't really keep my CPU much cooler than stock fan, but the fan is less noisy than the stock fan (though still somewhat loud). It's about 2 degrees cooler. Even tried better grease. Oh well, it is a bit quieter and that's why I got it. Fits in my Silverstone Grandia case perfectly.

A Nightmare to install in my FTZ01

Part CPU cooler and part intake fan for my FTZ01 case (high class Raven). This thing does it all and it does it quietly. However the install was a freaking nightmare! Having to maneuver this monster into a tight enclosure with near zero visibility while trying to mount the crossbar through the bottom mounted fan was insanely difficult. The darn thing kept on falling off and it took multiple rage quits before I was able to secure the cooler.

Silverstone could've made this so much easier by making the crossbar a captive part of the assembly instead of separate unit which the user must maneuver and screw into place. If you're considering this cooler for Raven build....I wouldn't do it. The performance is not worth the hassle. I never, ever, want to do this again. Ever.

Did I mentioned that I never want to do this again yet? Because I can't stress that enough.

The pipes were bent down so the top section did not sit at a 90 degree angle. I took a chance and just bent them back to 90 degrees and it seems to be working all right. I was disappointed to receive the item in a bent state though.

Yes... kinda tricky to install, but the end results are worth it. I was getting high 90's C temps on full load of my Intel i7 4790k on stock cooler inside a Thermaltake Armor i30, and now I get high 60's! Just a few words of advise. Follow the directions in the enclosed manual carefully and slowly. Get a tissue or something to clean the old thermal paste. There's a very faint line in the fasteners/screws 's heads that go through the bottom of the mobo that have to be aligned in certain way to be inserted correctly... failure to do so is an uneven platform, and probably not the kind of contact you want on the CPU. Careful also when installing the fan, if it is not perfectly squared to the cooler, the fasteners can twist it so that the blades will become very noisy. Will have to do a trick or two if you have higher RAM chips (the ones with fins or coolers), like slightly displacing the fan horizontally a mm or two (keep it square!).
The whole thing sits just (some 10mm) underneath the internal exhaust fan of the PSU, so I guess it helps to keep flow going... and for that set up I had to place the fan under the cooler and blowing upward (away) the CPU, otherwise the fans would have been fighting for air. The mobo I used is a micro ATX Gigabyte GA z97mx gaming 5, and had to place the cooler with the pipes to the first PCI line because the other way around it would have prevented any card from being installed later.
Came in just in perfect shape, packaging and a week earlier than what was promised by Amazon. Congrats to both Amazon and Silverstone!

When a manufacturer produces a product that can adapt to many different processors, extra care must be taken to clearly develop the installation path for each option. This, Silverstone Tek, has bobbled, with vague line drawings and terse instructions in each of a multitude of languages.

But is help available? Who knows, the instruction booklet is mute on support information. A weekend call the the US number for this Taiwanese company reached a robot that first repeated the number dialed, then beeped. After a time, it observes that no message has been recorded. (Would it have been polite to suggest this option, this lone option, first.)

Heck, I understand if techs need time off. But weekend are when I work on such technology projects. And I can reach support at any number 24/7.

I am glad that a tiny piece arrived broken,. I can honestly return this item to Amazon, a cost for dealing with this crypo-company.

I had to get a little creative installing this in an SG05 case. There just wasn't enough room to get my hands in there to put the crossbar on the base screw-down pins and hold the whole thing in place at the same time. So, I super-glued the crossbar to the top of the plate on the fins part. Then it stayed in position while I screwed it down.
I'm using this computer as a Protein Folding machine and the CPU now runs at 100% 24 hours a day and does not overheat.

PITA Install but solid HSF

I got this HSF as I needed something a little lower in height to replace my stock Intel cooler. I was putting this into a Silverstone SG07 case on a H67 mITX motherboard. If you know how the sockets on H67 mITX board are, this cooler might scare you away. Fear not, if you install this cooler with the pipe towards the GPU, they get close, but do not touch. Also, I installed the fan on the bottom and it cleared my HyperX Black standard height RAM. The top of the cooler comes right up to the SATA connections on my HDD. With some planning, I was able to have the correct power connector on the HDD so everything played nice. All that said an done, it was a pain to mount the bugger. This was due to needing to the line up the screw holes under the cooler with no way to get my big hands in there. Everything packed in like a sardine, I am getting cooler temps, and like the look (a bit thats all you see) better than the stock cooler.

I'm sure that this cooler works just fine on Intel sockets but the AMD mounting hardware doesn't work. At least, not in my case. If the studs on the part that goes around the socket were just a 1/4 inch taller, it would have been perfect for my build in an RVZ-01. However, because I couldn't actually mount it, I ended up going with an AR-06 instead.
