I have the delta eclipse 4 in 1 convertible crib, I have a few of them in fact, we have been recently looking to convert to full bed with head board & footboard we purchased the crib from target, they had no idea where to purchase a conversion kit for the crib they still sell by the way, nor did they know what a conversion kit was, seriously?! SO I did some research and I keep hearing that for the delta eclipse cribs you need the "000560 metal bed rails" OK so I had been looking for months no where in site were the 000560 metal bed rails until FINALLY they are here!! and a few other places as well, these bed rails very specifically say Simmons kids no where does it say it goes with delta crib or delta eclipse and no one ever says ok I bought the 000560 bed rails for my eclipse and it works! so I gambled and bought them (after fighting with the customer service people at delta who INSISTED there was no way these bed rails would work for my crib, I needed to go to a furniture store and purchase bed rails or I need to use just a plain metal bed frame) ONLY to find that after purchase and a 4 hour assembly of an average metal bed frame it didn't work! nothing lined up! keep in mind I also have my conversion plates originally purchased with crib, still no luck! took it apart returned it and spent the entire next day looking at furniture stores for metal bed rails, pretty sure I was laughed at? like they don't exist? who the f knows, after all I'm here to tell you if you have the DELTA ECLIPSE 4-1 CONVERTIBLE CRIB, the 000560 Simmons metal bed rails DO IN FACT FIT PERFECTLY! I was even able to use the hardware sent with the rails and its awesome! so excited thank you target and delta products for being oh so very very helpful... not

Allow me to explain why this product has recieved poor reviews and why it IS actually a great product..

I have the Valencia crib/dresser that I purchased at Burlington's baby depot. The crib came with assembly instructions and some extra screws/bolts etc that were in little baggies and were labled "full size conversion" and "daybed conversion". I tossed all this in a drawer and forgot about them after we assembled the crib.
I was concerned reading the poor reviews about how unstable the bed was with these full rails, but decided to give them a shot. They arrived, and I opened them up and attached them to the headboard and footboard with the bolts that were included with the bed rails. It was VERY unstable. I was so bummed. Then I started thinking about it, and I decided that all this bed rail set really needed was shorter bolts to make it stable.. and I decided to go grab the original instructions for the crib to see if I had even ordered the right rails. Yes, these rails were the correct model number per the box for our crib. BUT the Valencia crib instructions specifically say to use the SHORTER bolts that came WITH THE CRIB and to DISCARD all the hardware that comes with the rails. WALAH! I found the baggie with the shorter bolts and it was labeled "full conversion" and all my problems were solved. Once I did that, I had a very stable full size bed made with these rails and I was very happy. These rails are very heavy duty. I do however, plan on having some extra wood slats added.
One review said they were only able to put one screw in per "corner" but I don't understand why they thought that... I had no problem getting two in per "corner" I just attached the footboard first so that I knew which holes to use on the headboard.

We purchased a Simmons Crib when my 3-year old son was born. I loved it; I loved the toddler bed and also the day bed. He is ready for a bigger bed, and I had a really hard time finding the right bed rails to turn it into a full sized bed. I read the first and only review and didn't want to make the same mistake they did. I found a number to call Simmons Kids Furniture and tried to order one from them, and they were less than helpful. [Needless to say I would like to review their customer service...because it could stand some improvement]. I decided to order these bed rails, because my son's bed was one of the model numbers listed, and the part number 560 was the part number that was listed on the Simmons instruction sheet. These rails are perfect, they fit perfect, both bolts fit in the slots and the bed is VERY secure. I am happy, and this was a great price. :)

After much deliberation, I ordered this for our now obsolete Babi Italia Pinehurst Lifestyle Crib. Since La Jobi went out of business, and I didn't buy the bed rails for my daughter's crib conversion, I bought these with a hope and a dream that they would work. That they did! So if you have the same issue, this is what I suggest.

1. Drill completely through the top and bottom holes in the headboard and footboard that were originally for the bed rails. See picture.
2. Buy some additional hardware, as the stuff that comes with these bed rails aren't sturdy enough. We bought 8 sets of 1/4 inch carriage bolts.
3. Bolt the header and footer to the bed rails using the carriage bolts and drilled holes.
4. I bought a bunkie board because the cross bar did not fit, it was too short.
5. We taped the bunkie board to the metal frame with duct tape because it was slipping around, making it hard to adjust the mattress.
6. We placed the full mattress straight on the frame and bunkie boards, no box spring.
7. This securely holds me and my 5 year old daughter, I weigh about 150lbs. My husband, at about 200lbs, was too much for those bunkie boards. When he sat on the mattress the bunky boards slid off the rails and the mattress went down, but that was before we taped them so they wouldn't slide. It may hold him now but we aren't trying again.

I would say these rails are universal. Thankfully we had some holes to help align the bed to the rails, because that would not have been fun to try and drill level holes for the whole bed.
