Simone is a radiographer and a mum. She had always wanted to write a story like Super Jonny to help her patient's kids. Then, one day, when she was in hospital herself, her son came to visit dressed in his superhero suit. "Everybody just loved seeing this little boy dashing into the ward." she explains. "I guess you could say, that Super Jonny was born that day." Simone lives in New Zealand, where she enjoys eating licorice ice cream and long beach walks.
